Following cast reunions of The Princess Bride and The West Wing, Wisconsin Democrats are importing more Hollywood celebrities in their effort to turn the state blue and send President Donald Trump packing. This time, the cast of HBO’s Veep, headed by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, will take part in a virtual reunion to raise money in the battleground state.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who hosted the final night of the Democratic National Convention, announced Saturday that the virtual Veep reunion will take place October 4. “Anything you donate will be used to ensure that Trump loses Wisconsin, and thereby the White House,” the official invitation states.

FWIW, I thought VEEP was one of the most realistic political shows ever produced. Huge self-centered egos running rampant with no concern for the country or voters.
Without getting help, I suspect Ms Dreyfus couldn’t find WI on a map.
I don’t know how she can top that hilarious skit she did with Andrew Yang at the DNC where they made fun of the pronunciation of Pence’s name. That was comedy gold. / s
When are these Hollywood types ever going to learn that voters are conditioned to TOTALLY IGNORE THEM.
Most “stars” have a high school education (or left town before graduation).
Some can act, but most are too dumb to think intelligently.
My son lives in Hollywood, is friends with some actors/actresses, says many are too dumb to even plan a party, call him for help on what to serve besides Cheetos.
And nothing fell off? This is almost as good as the choreography of Sandy Ocasio in her video made at Boston University
Moreover, in Veep, Dreyfus played a horrible Hillary-esque monster who lusted after the presidency but was always undone by her own lack of character and basic decency. It was basically a Hillary biography.
So how is that going to translate into getting people to run out and vote Democratic?
A virtual Reunion of a bunch of people that make believe and play pretend for a living, sounds fascinating.
