Michelle Obama on mail-in ballots: 'Don't listen to people who say...your vote will get lost'

Former first lady Michelle Obama says Americans shouldn't "listen to people who say ... your vote will get lost" during the 2020 presidential election.

Her comments aired during an Instagram Live virtual event on Tuesday for her voter-registration group, When We All Vote, featuring celebrities like Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya.

"Voting is easy," the former first lady said during the event, according to Axios. "It is something that we can do. Don’t listen to people who will say that somehow voting is rigged and your vote will get lost and it won’t be counted. That is not true."

She added that voters should not be "discouraged by those conspiracy theories that are being peddled out there about the validity of our election process because it’s just not true."

"They want you to stay home," she said. "They want you to feel so confused by the process that you just throw your hands up. And then, you know, they let those in power make the choices for you. But you know, you can’t let any process make you feel so intimidated that you don’t make your voice heard."

President Trump has repeatedly voiced concerns about ballot fraud over the last several months as the 2020 presidential election approaches and the coronavirus pandemic keeps people from voting in person.

The president told reporters on Wednesday, "I've been complaining very strongly about the ballots, and the ballots are a disaster."

It's as if the left is saying the only option people have is to use the mail. Like in-person polling places have vanished. Don't trust anyone who would convince you that your options are limited.

Republican voters of course should vote in person. After sending out them compulsory mail in ballots too, in those states with mass mail in blots.

On the inside, she was our ugliest First Lady. She is a first class racist (former Secret Service agents attest to this fact). She is also insecure, vain, calculating, entitled, greedy, pompous, cruel, and narcissistic.

When she was First Lady, you could not walk into a newsstand or grocery store aisle and not be assaulted by her face plastered on almost every magazine cover. The media got their orders, and they dutifully complied.

It was all such a joke. How many magazine covers did Moochie appear? It's in the several hundreds, if not thousands.

By contrast, Melania is perhaps the most physically attractive First Lady in the history of the United States, and she has appeared on one or two magazine covers in 4 years.

Cali man said his dad found THOUSANDS of unopened ballots at a garbage dump in Petaluma, north of Frisco.

Says dad was throwing away trash, saw them, so he took pictures (posted on FR thread).

Dad told a lady who worked at the dump.....she claimed the county govt dumped them there.

Later dad drove back around and saw the workers covering-up the ballots with cardboard.

Dad also sent the exact location of the dumpster: A blow up of the photo shows the ballots have been signed and
have return addresses but none appear to have been opened. Is being investigated; will be back with updates.

I'm not worried that my vote would "get lost." I'm worried that my vote my be lost & then "found" to have voted for someone else. (eg. dementia Joe)

I'm worried that my vote would be "virtually lost" in a sea of fraudulent votes - almost certainly all for candidates other than the ones I'm voting for.

When it comes right down to it though, yeah, I am concerned that my vote would "get lost" since my area is predominately "red" and an interested party with a "blue" agenda would be pretty safe in "losing" votes from my area...

I voted absentee once.I had to go down to Town Hall,sign one or two papers and then complete my ballot,place it in the envelope I was given,seal it,sign it and then hand it to the Town official.

Of course as a housebound disabled person you very probably would find that same procedure difficult...if not impossible. Special procedures should be instituted for people like you.

But mailing ballots to every person on the 15 year old voter list that the town/county/state has is a recipe for disaster,as both Jimmy Carter and Debbie Wasserman Schultz have said in the past.

There is too much evidence to the contrary to put any stock in what Michelle Obama (or her husband)says. The year 2020 would not be the first year any voter or election fraud has occurred; just too few people being convicted & going to jail for it is all.
