As a Vet, this just scares the shiite out of me! I have no biological kids of my own; I don’t expect much out of my step-sons. I’ll probably outlive Beau. I am hoping to get into one of our Veteran’s Homes when the time comes, and Wisconsin has a nice one up in Chippewa Falls. But, who will advocate for me when the time comes?
I need to start thinking long and hard about my options, other than saving a bullet for myself.
Effing Socialist Democrats and their wish for death and destruction upon anyone who gets in the way of their (perceived) POWER.
Wisconsin will most likely not be solid Red in the remainder of my lifetime. Maybe saving a bullet for myself IS my best option, LOL!
Thank you for your service, Ma’am.
We go back a long way on FR but I never knew about this until now.
FReegards!
It doesn't matter which state you are in when the VA is concern, they will kill you whether you go to a VA facility in a Red State or Blue State. Most the workers are brain dead Democrat voters, that is my opinion. If they were SMART Republican voters they probably would not end up working at a VA facility. (Mostly truthful sarcasm alert)
And I wouldn't doubt if some of the WOKE doctors secretly check out your voting registration with their WOKE friends in the know, and/or even so far as to look at your facebook posts and twitter posts to check out if your a conservative/Republican type of voter or Democrat voter.(another sarcasm alert)
I have no children either and I often think about who will advocate for me I hope I die before anything like that happens to me!!
PLEASE Diana! DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! About saving a bullet for yourself.
A lot of people care about you. Certainly here.
That would be a tragedy. Don’t throw away God’s greatest gift. There must be other options.
My sister lives in Wisconsin and I will ask her if there is anything else for you, any resources.
Keep your bullets for the bad guys.
You just become a pain the ass. Get what you’re owed.
Call them daily. Ask for whatever in writing. Tweet PDJT.
He’s on your side. Of course you’re polite but pin them down on every step to get what you need.
Take names, dates and times of contacts and calls and look them in the eye. Its the squeaky wheel principal.
Best I can offer.
FReeRegards.

Ms. Diana,
Get a small spiral bound notebook - 100 pages plus.
One subject really. You and what you need. Get it.
Write everything down. Names, dates, times, numbers, your thoughts, plans, etc.
I recommend Mead 5 Star notebooks. They hold up. I have 25 years of them. You can always go back to see who you talked to, agreed to, etc.
Be polite but unrelenting. Write everything down. Trust me.
TH54 ;-)
Thank you for your service! While you still have your wits about you, get an Advocate for yourself. I’m not sure how you go about that, but your attorney would know. Another, more personal advocate, could be an adult grandchild, niece or nephew. My cousin and her cousin advocate for their maiden aunt. Nothing gets by them.
Youre a vet?
Did not know that.
God bless you for your service.
All good - we Gardeners got your back...
#13. Please vote first. (not serious but we need you).
Nice Veteran’s home about a mile down the road from me in Gulfport, MS....us Southerners (Upstate NY transplant when I was stationed at Keesler in ‘86 and never left) still appreciate and take care of our vets and ourselves.
