Joe Biden appeared visibly rattled and agitated when asked by reporters on Wednesday whether his role as vice president in charge of Ukraine foreign policy presented a conflict of interest while Hunter sat on the board of Ukrainian energy firm Burisma Holdings.
“It’s not a conflict of interest! There’s been no indication of any conflict of interest, from Ukraine or anywhere else. Period!” Biden snapped.

<><> Hunter Biden used Secret Service protection for personal foreign business trips in more than a dozen nations.
<><> Hunter Biden was given $3.5 million by the wife of the former mayor of Moscow, Elena Baturina.
<><> Archer received $142,300 from a Kazakh politician on the same day Joe Biden appeared with the Ukrainian Prime Minister to discuss Russia’s actions in Crimea.
<><> Hunter Biden gave money to women who have immigrated to the U.S. from Russia and Eastern Europe that are allegedly linked to prostitution and human trafficking rings.
<><> Evidence that former Secretary of State John Kerry knew about Hunter Biden’s connections to Burisma, despite his December 2019 claim to the contrary. The report indicated that this, along with other discrepancies, shows multiple instances of “high-ranking Obama administration officials blatantly ignoring Hunter Biden’s association with Burisma.”
<><> That Vice President Biden was in Kyiv is especially concerning in light of the timing.

A conflict exists when one party has more than one way to benefit from a transaction and other parties do not benefit equally from both of those alternatives.
Biden benefits when his son is rewarded financially. Biden benefits when the relationship with the Ukraine helps the U.S.
The question then is whether benefit to Hunter Biden changes the benefit to the U.S. or vice versa.
The U.S. benefits when the Ukraine is free of corruption. Hunter biden benefits when the Ukraine is corrupt.
This is all the analysis one needs to establish a conflict of interest. You don't have to prove that a crime was committed to establish a conflict of interest.
It was the job of the investigator who was fired to establish whether there was a crime. Conveniently, Biden solved his conflict of interest problem by getting the investigation halted. How very convenient.
