A simple majority of registered voters are on board with abolishing the Electoral College for presidential elections in favor of the popular vote.
According to a new Hill-HarrisX poll released Tuesday, 51% of respondents said they would be in favor of weakening the influence of states without dense populations on the outcome of the election, whereas 49% believe it should be kept "to distribute voter power among all 50 states."

Until the results of this so-called “poll” are published, with the names of the so-called “respondents”, assume it’s bullsh*t.
Why do people keep paying attention to “polls”? did they learn NOTHING from all the “polls” of 2016? Do they have some deep-seated psychological disorder that compels them to be scared / anxious / concerned / uneasy all the time? Does the anxiety make them feel more alive?
And do they offer scholarships?
Not without a fight. They are pushing us to help the blue cities secede from the country. Without liberal cities, I think the country runs just fine. Most of them aren’t even open and the economy is coming back without them. The cities are merely a drain on our country. Besides, the hate us and tgey gate America. Who needs them.

It’s the epitome of push-polls, as evidenced by how the answers are interpreted. The only way such detailed interpretations, like distributing input across all states, is for them into be contained in the questions, causing hopeless bias.
This poll is utterly invalid on its face.

The electoral college is there to PROTECT the minority FROM the majority.
The desires of the mob and the majority are therefore irrelevant.
