When I heard the news of the passing away of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, I had a suspicion that Joy Reid would be reclaiming her spot today as host of AM Joy, the MSNBC show she left in favor of hosting a weekday primetime slot on the network. And sure enough, there Reid was this morning, having big-footed the aspirants to her host chair. [The apparently power-hungry Reid had also previously imposed herself as a guest on her former show!]
Reid had an urgent message for Democrats: threaten, and exact, retaliation on Republicans should they manage to replace Justice Ginsburg on the Supreme Court. Reid raised the notion with every guest during the show's opening half-hour. Here were Reid's specific suggestions:

To pack the Court you need to control the Presidency, the House and the Senate.
There is no question that the democrats will pack the Court the next time they control all three. Then the next time the Republicans control all three they will repack the Court. Eventually, there will be more Supreme Court Justices than there are congresscritters.

Very understandable, but I follow AM Joy for NewsBusters [governs=Finkelstein], so do find myself wondering what she’ll be up to.
She clearly seems to want to hog the limelight. Even after she left the show as host, she’s made a number of return appearances as a guest, and today snatched the host chair back to cover the RBG new.

No, I'm not nuts or on the wrong thread - these court-packing libs got me thinking about that time. If Biden should raise the number of judges and claim the judiciary for his party (assuming he could), why couldn't the next POTUS do the same? If he adds six, then the next guy adds ten more, from HIS party, and on and on until we are ALL judges!

Here’s the problem. If you announce PR will be independent, everyone will leave the island and move to the US to keep their US Citizenship, the only ones left behind will be those without the means to do so.
