Emergency services in New York state are responding to a mass shooting in Rochester, local officials and witnesses say. At least a dozen people are believed to have been shot.
The incident began just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday when officers were called to a shooting near Goodman Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, where a large crowd had gathered outside.
Details about the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately known.

It’s interesting that the shooting occurred in the days after the Mayor “fired” the previous Chief. And on that note, Chief Singletary had already resigned, and planned on retiring the end of September. How do you “fire” someone who already put their papers in? Mayor Ain’t-So-Lovely Warren is an a-hole.

This morning, I watched Mayor Lovely being interviewed. I believe she lied her a** off.
She makes former Mayor “Grady” Bill Johnson look competent! Oh wait, he’s on the Police Reform Task Board or some such rot.
All religious services should now be called House Party Protests to get carte blanche.
Who is this moron? Either it is, or it isn't related to attendance at a particular church, and if you have no evidence that it's directly tied to that church, or any church, why even mention it? One thing you'll never hear is the uptick in cases related to rioting, because churches have to be portrayed as the evil entity.
I heard she lied about not being aware of the Prude case. My niece's husband said there are emails that prove she had been alerted, and he also said, she's a micro-manager, has her nose into everything, and would have known about it all. He also said she's been through 5 police chiefs since she took office in 2014, which tells you what an a-hole she is.
If her lips were moving and sound was coming from her mouth, she was lying. But for a politician now lying is Standard Operating Procedure [”What do I tell the suckers,,,, er People?” “What will they believe?”]
And that's not the only lie. She said she fired the chief. He resigned...and it was loud and clear. A couple others resigned with him.
They knew she was going to throw them under the bus....and she sure did.

She just permitted (encouraged) a Citizen's Police Review Board....Guess the demographics.
Another incident was the cutest little black kids pictured on the Carousel at Sea Breeze. Once again, blacks were offended. There was a committee formed and you can bet thew Mayor was involved and they replaced the art panel with....wait for it....A Black Panther.
The other thing I can't believe is that the city rec department requires rec center staff to teach the kids that go there. Most of these people, like my niece's husband have no college, and no teaching certificate, which you need to be able to work as a teacher in the city school district. Prior to the lockdown, they were ordered to teach kids to read. Now they've renamed some of the rec jobs as education counselors. I asked him why the union is accepting of this teaching policy, and he said the union rolled over for the city on that issue. It just seems totally illegal to make recreation employees responsible for teaching the kids while they are at a rec center.
