Murkowski ran to the media to announce she will not vote for any replacement until after the election has been decided. Expect other RINO’s to follow shortly.
No way Collins, who is up for re-election and trailing, will support this.
There are eight gop-e sinators up for re-election who are in very tight races IF we believe the polls.
I don't see any of them supporting a new judge.

Before the election or after the election, the next confirmation process for a Trump nominee will make the Kavanaugh hearings look like Barney & Friends by comparison..

You won’t have to wait for them - the GOP will beat them to it.
The pick is about the election. Get the name out there, and essentially the election becomes a plebiscite on that pick. It will certainly motivate more Republicans to get out and vote for their Senate candidate, to give the GOP more flexibility.

Way more than one or two. The Never Trump bench in the senate is deep.
There is no way Senate Confirmation could happen before November 3rd. Had this happened in June, maybe. If Trump wins, this is going to be a fight that will make the Kavanaugh confirmation seem civilized.
