California Governor Gavin Newsom (D) on Friday night signed a bill that would allow judges to decide whether to list a man as a sex offender for having oral or anal sex with a same-sex minor.

The bill lowers the penalties for adults who have sex with ‘willing’ same-sex minors. A Judge could decide if the adult has to register as sex offender if the offender is within 10 years of age of the victim.

As young as 14 years of age! Cannot enter into a binding contract, cannot buy alcohol or cigarettes, join the military, etc. But can give their consent!

Let this sink in:

CALIFORNIA
Cal Fam Code § 6922 Consent by minor 15 or older living separately
(a) A minor may consent to the minor’s medical care or dental care if all of the following conditions are satisfied:
(1) The minor is 15 years of age or older.

So if a 14 year old needed medical care they could not legally give their consent. But California now trusts them to legally be able to give their consent to sex!
