And the Israelis had to cross over a ton of Syrian ground en route to target.

There were reports this morning that the Israelis flew into Syria from Al Tanf, which means they likely over flew Jordan and then through American controlled airspace on their way to Aleppo.

Only if it has the correct Russian missiles in the Tiers and than only if the operators are trained in using the system - last I heard, the Russians had no plans to give them the missiles and training was on hold. Plus, there is no need to go anywhere near Tartus where the S-400 batteries are located.

All the other systems are antiques and easily defeated.

The article needs more detail, but my guess is that Israeli jets violated Syrian airspace to attack the Iraqi Hezbollah troops in Syria.

The whole Middle East situation is very confusing. Too many players, too many moving pieces.
