The Gulf state of Bahrain is to normalise relations with Israel, the diplomatic correspondent for Israel’s public broadcaster Kan said on Friday, without citing sources.
Another Israeli reporter, Raphael Ahren of the Times of Israel, said U.S. President Donald Trump would on Friday announce that Bahrain was joining its neighbour the United Arab Emirates in formally establishing ties with Israel.
The White House had no immediate comment. Trump will on Tuesday host a White House ceremony solemnising the Israel-UAE deal, which was announced on Aug. 13.
The Kan reporter, Amichai Stein, said in a tweet that Bahrain Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa would be in Washington on Monday...
Last week Bahrain said it would allow flights between Israel and the UAE to use its airspace. This followed a Saudi decision to allow an Israeli commercial airliner to fly over it on the way to the UAE.
Bahrain, a small island state, is a close ally of Saudi Arabia and the site of the U.S. Navy’s regional headquarters. Riyadh in 2011 sent troops to Bahrain to help quell an uprising and, alongside Kuwait and the UAE, in 2018 offered Bahrain a $10 billion economic bailout.

Well, that’s interesting. I thought the Brotherhood pretty much died out when it was destroyed in Egypt
The senior leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood are now guests of the Government in Turkey. Turkey and Qatar are currently their main (overt) State sponsors.
The Brotherhood (al Ikhwan) is currently actively operating (warfighting) militias in Libya and Syria, and maintains overt and covert organizations in dozens of countries, including the USA. The Charter of Hamas explicitly states that they are part of the Muslim Brotherhood - not merely associated.
They are deeply embedded throughout the Middle East, since their alliance with the Nazis in WWII. They received first world training in spycraft and irregular warfare, and their network of operatives have worked for many different Nations’ Intelligence Services since then.
I tend to believe that but then the Saudis have a superiority complex in the region. If they come on board recognizing Israel, the Mullahs in Iran will be boxed in and maybe the Persians can regain western freedom control, which so many want. Oman is next. This getting HUGE! After all the politicians who have failed thought out the years, who is making this happen? A businessman.

I think you are right in your assessment of why this is happening under Trump’s Presidency, I would add ‘because God is causing this to happen’ as He is with many things under President Trump.
There are leftists saying either Trump or Jared Kushner is the antichrist and these peace deals with Israel are the proof. They cannot be reasoned with their hate for President Trump is so overwhelming. Anyone care to comment on this please do.

I don’t know whether President Trump is being guided from above - such questions are way above my pay grade.
But he certainly does seem to care deeply about staying firmly on the side of good.
I was lucky and proud enough to have Ronald Reagan as President when I was a young adult - I never dreamed I would live long enough to have another President I could be that proud of....
But I am so proud of Donald Trump.
I am very pleased Donald Trump ran for and won the Presidency.
I believe in the utter sovereignty of God, that he appointed Donald Trump to be President and has changed Donald Trump immensely in being born again and then molded by God and led by Holy Spirit. Looking at DJT past there are monumental changes in his character and beliefs and values. I attribute the good in DJT to God.
That is just my view, and now we will see which way America goes by God’s appointment this November. I expect DJT to remain President but only God truly knows. There is great evil in the nation too, and the antichrist rising to power means the sooner Jesus returns. I hope for Donald Trump to win but hope even more for the soon return of Jesus.
