Violence is escalating in Portland. Soon, the good guys are going to take the gloves off. Since the Governor, Mayor and LEO’s will not defend the people, it will be up to the people.
And then, imagine just how fast the Gov/Mayor will step in to stop the “right wing extremists”.
seem to remember reading some scenario with pick up trucks, prone shooters in the back, pull up on a riot, drop the tailgate unleash hell and speed off. Kind of surprised this hasnt happened yet.
Had my mind on buying a .308 lever action rifle..and I found one and bot it....
I've taken a 600 yd shot on a yote...but never on a deer.
Prolly the longest gun shot I had on a buck was 200 yds...And I've killed some good ones.
I'd be hard put to shoot something at a mile...
Most of the deer shots are under 250 yards here and 80% under 150. Don’t like trying long on then field rats. Could try but target certainty is important. Safety first.

Since there’s no police in Portland, it would have been okay for this reporter to shoot every attacker in the head. Then walk away and eat an ice cream cone.
Depends on shot placement. Wouldn’t likely be a “humane” kill.
Rumors that fires are being started by the commies. If a bunch of loggers descend on Portland, all bets are off.
The pantifa defense of these kinds of attacks is that the offenders are agents provocateur. They’re actually Proud Boys or Boogaloo in costume trying to make klantifa look bad and discredit “the movement.”
If you have long range skills I don’t think the silencer is that important. Shoot, then move.

You probably know more than me, but I was imagining not moving and just taking out target after target in a crowd of rioters from a concealed location far away. If they never hear the shot, people would just start dropping, but no one would know why for awhile, giving them time to take out more before the crowd scattered.
I have heard that good snipers have made kill shots at more than 2 miles.

I just watch more military documentaries. I have titanium screws in feet because a cow stepped on my foot in high school. That disqualified me from any military service.

Vigilantes tried to clean up Portland but have been charged with major crimes while BLM walks free.
