'More information is coming': Atlantic editor-in-chief warns he will release more dirt on Trump - as Veteran Affairs secretary insists article that claims president called dead soldiers 'losers' is not true
Daily Mail ^ | 9/7/20 | Luke Kenton

Veteran Affairs Secretary Robert Wilkie has joined a long list of officials in blasting a recent report in the Atlantic that claimed Trump has repeatedly made disparaging remarks about the US war dead, calling them ‘suckers’ and ‘losers’.

The rebuttals come as the article’s author, and the Atlantic's editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, has defended his decision to keep his sources anonymous and says he expects 'more information' to come out in the coming days to corroborate his story about Trump’s remarks. These are not people who are anonymous to me,’ Goldberg told CNN. ‘We all have to use anonymous sources especially in a climate in which the president of the United States tries to actively intimidate journalism organizations and people who provide information to journalism organizations.’

Wilkie discredited the claims to CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday, saying the president described in the report by anonymous sources does not reflect the Donald Trump he knows. ‘I would be offended, too, if I thought it was true,’ Wilkie said. ‘I am very proud that this president has led to a renaissance in veterans affairs.' The report, published by the Atlantic Thursday, and credits four separate military sources, claims that Trump cancelled a visit to Aisne-Marne American Cemetery near Paris in November 2018 because he was worried his hair would be disheveled by the rain. In a conversation with senior staff before the planned visit, Trump reportedly asked aides: 'Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.' During the same trip, the president allegedly later referred to the more than 1,800 Marines who lost their lives in the Battle of Belleau Wood in France as 'suckers' for getting killed.

Yet the Atlantic dismisses the voices of people who were there and said it did not happen.

Yet the media hides the real stuff Biden does, and the Atlantic is having a Hillary party.

Too bad these anti-American operations are not treated the same way BLM/ANTIFA has treated various major inner cities.

What was it they said? Something about its not the source but the veracity of the claims.

Unless somebody steps up and reveals their name, people will become bored with the newest attempt to bring down Trump.

The important question is why aren't the sources screaming their name from the highest mountain? Why are they afraid? If what they say if true the press will canonize them.

The most logical conclusion: they won't give their name because they LIE.

And why doesn’t Trump sue them?

If I'm correct, because elected officials can't.

That's why Gov. Sarah Palin had to resign. She couldn't afford the legal fees to fight all of the false accusations made against her even though she was found innocent, but couldn't sue the false accusers so they kept coming at her. She ultimately had no choice but to resign.

I don't know the exact laws in play, so I'll let the real legal experts comment.

Anyone remember the 2012 Campaign when that esteemed Statesman, the US Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, accused GOP Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney of willfully not paying taxes for 10 years. He then repeated it multiple times on the Senate Floor, claiming to have proof. After he retired and shielded by US Constitution protection, he said to a reporter, CNN’s Dana Bash; “I don’t regret that at all, Romney didn’t win did he?”

Anybody remember the COUNTLESS times that California Representative Adam Schiff said that he had PROOF of the Russian support of Trump and their manipulations of the 2016 Presidential Elections.

Shakespeare’s Scottish Play (MacBeth) Act 5 Scene 5: “It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”

EXCERPT........ the co-founder and CTO of Crowdstrike, the cyber security firm that the DNC hired to investigate the alleged hacks, Dmitri Alperovitch, also serves as a senior fellow to the Washington-based think tank Atlantic Council, which is an openly anti-Russian organization partly . The Atlantic Council is funded by Ukrainian oligarch Victor Pinchuk, who also happens to be one of the most prolific donors to the Clinton Foundation. The DNC denied multiple requests from the FBI to access their servers, effectively forcing the FBI to rely on CrowdStrike’s assessment of the hacks.

The Atlantic Council has propagated anti-Russian sentiment and advocated for bolstering NATO forces in anticipation of a military conflict between with Russia long before Wikileaks released emails from the DNC and Clinton Campaign Manager John Podesta. In 2013, the Atlantic Council awarded Hillary Clinton its Distinguished International Leadership Award. In 2014, the Atlantic Council hosted one of several events with former Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, who took over after pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych was removed in early 2014. In August, Politico reported that Donald Trump’s favorable rhetoric to Russia was concerning Ukraine. The article stated, “Russia wants Trump for U.S. president; Ukraine is terrified by Trump and prefers Hillary Clinton.”

In response to their preferred candidate losing the election, Ukrainian officials are now scrambling to revert from their lobbying for Hillary Clinton and the DNC. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko recently signed a $50,000-a-month contract with a lobbying firm to set up meetings with U.S. officials in the new administration. Ukrainian billionaire Victor Pinchuk wrote an op-ed on December 29 in the Wall Street Journal in which he argued that Ukraine needs make compromises to establish peace with Russia. After the election, reports surfaced that Pinchuk donated to Trump’s charity to try to gain the same favor and access that his donations to the Clinton Foundation afforded him.

“The sole reason the Victor Pinchuk Foundation has reached out to President-elect Trump—as well as other world leaders—has been to promote strengthened and enduring ties between Ukraine and the West,” a spokeswoman for the Pinchuk foundation told ABC News.

While past elections in Ukraine have been viewed as proxy battles between the U.S. and Russia, it appears that the 2016 presidential election in the U.S. faced similar influence from two foreign countries attempting to influence an election outcome preferable to their own national interests.

Chelsea Clinton and Viktor Pinchuk who donated $29 million to Clinton Foundation in Kiev, Ukraine 8/21/16. Ukranian Pinchuk was especially generous---not only blanketing the Clinton Foundation with money, he hired Hillary for a $300,00 speech to help him boost Ukraine's creds; even Chelsea got into the act.

CIRCA 2013----Pinchuk and Hillary at a Ukraine forum discussing regime change, exiting Russia, (Ukrainian
progress in energy reform?)....and hitting up the US for more foreign aid from shoo-in Hillary.

They will get absolutely nowhere with this is trump every other day is honoring veterans, going to Arlington etc.

He has passed the most important legislation in the history of the United States for veterans - the VA reforms acts

Veterans choice means that any veteran can go on to any doctor and no more waiting times of 3 to 7 weeks

He also rebuilt the military and it’s stronger than ever

He’s also building the wall the politicians only dreamed about

The border is the most important security issue to the United States by far
