Not bad. Thus far my research shows the scary "unaffiliated voters" are NOT mostly in Blue Counties. I will post on several Red and Blue Counties through this thread. Also Romney won NC by 2% FYI in case anyone forgot.

Yet NC elected a Democrat governor. Why is that?

NC is a key state...and I know they have a Rat Governor. Anyone know if they’re doing mail in ballots?

Not all of us! There are lots of escapees who will do their best to turn NC deep Red.

Unfortunately my 24 year old son and his girlfriend—neither are Trump voters—just moved from CA to Charlotte NC this week!

Hopefully they won’t get around to re-registering and will vote absentee in CA or not vote at all.

Sorry all! They are good kids but. . .misguided.

Promising. Look for a Prius with a “Coexist” bumper sticker and you can find and eliminate harvested ballots

I hate heat and humidity so I could never live in Florida...or North Carolina...year round. But I’m seriously considering getting out of this cesspool called the Gay State. Wherever I go I sure as hell won’t be voting for Rats.

There was a scandal involving the construction of toll roads so the idiot Roy Cooper managed to squeak by on this issue. I doubt he will be re-elected. A lot of people here really detest him.

Some Blue Counties (Buncombe, Cumberland, Durham, Guilford, Mecklenburg):

Total Registered Voters 9/10/16:

Buncombe: 193,073

Cumberland: 203,679

Durham: 219,581

Guilford: 350,624

Mecklenburg: 685,280

Total Registered Voters 9/05/20:

Buncombe: 200,925 (+7,852)

Cumberland: 216,044 (+12,365)

Durham: 233,441 (+13,860)

Guilford: 370,865 (+20,241)

Mecklenburg: 765,241 (+79,961)

Red Counties are more numerous but smaller so I picked a few for now (not comprehensive at all).

Total Registered Voters 9/10/16:

Alamance: 97,688

Brunswick: 92,328

Cabarrus: 128,060

Davidson: 103,103

Gaston: 137,394

Harnett: 70,731

Iredell: 114,216

Johnston: 118,127

Total Registered Voters 9/05/20:

Alamance: 105,391 (+7,703)

Brunswick: 109,658 (+17,330)

Cabarrus: 144,027 (+15,967)

Davidson: 109,399 (+6,296)

Gaston: 145,146 (+7,752)

Harnett: 77,932 (+7,201)

Iredell: 125,630 (+11,414)

Johnston: 137,503 (+19,376)

Both Red and Blue Counties are adding voters so it does appear that the "unaffiliated voters" are statewide and NOT just concentrated in urban areas. I will update with more counties later. So many counties...

I would say cautiously good. I assume that the unaffiliated voters would similar to how the counties vote. Unaffiliateds in Red Counties would tend to vote for the Red team and unaffiliateds in Blue Counties would tend to vote for the Blue team. This appears to be the case base on 2016 results for these various counties in North Carolina.

There are still a lot of older “jessecrats” in eastern NC that used to Vote for Jesse Helms and Reagan ....and now Trump that never switched their Dem registration

Just wait until they are surrounded by their first BLM mob. They will switch to the R party.

A variety of reasons explain that. The NC Dem party has their crap together better than some other southern states for one. NC has always been more amenable to electing democrats to statewide office than other neighboring states. Plus, there was a scandal that allowed Cooper to slither in.
