President Donald Trump has found another cause to bang his drum about. He wants college football to come back, after some conferences have delayed their seasons.
Trump's been specifically loud about the lack of football in the Big 10 -- which houses college football powerhouses in key Great Lake battleground states such as Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- while omitting mention of the Pac-12, Mid-American and Mountain West conferences, which have also decided not to play this fall. "I've been calling for football to be back, including Big 10. Big 10, get with it. Open up your season, Big 10," the President said at his Friday rally in New Hampshire.
A look at the numbers helps explain why Trump yearns for Big 10 college football to return to these states, but it also reveals why Trump should be careful for what he wishes (i.e. Americans don't seem to be aching for college life or sports to return to normal).
Trump's path to winning the White House shrinks considerably without winning in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. If former Vice President Joe Biden takes the three states and all of the states Hillary Clinton won in 2016, he'll have over 270 electoral votes. Biden would almost certainly win all the Clinton states if he won in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

2. Name the states these schools are located in.
3. Specify which states are in your definition of "fly-over country".

Accordingly, I couldn’t care less if the NBA (or any sympathetic leagues) cozy up to BLM and go belly up), but I vehemently want college football coaches, players, athletic directors to best the liberal administrators and governors in PA, Wi, IL, Mi, Ohio (not sure where DeWine stands) who are attempting to extend the malaise.
Now, suddenly, having realized they’re fools,—and legally liable for violating their obligation to scholarship athletes— the BiG10 is thinking about resuming after all.....around Thanksgiving, conveniently AFTER the election.

He also fails to mention that the BIG10 commissioner —Kevin Warren—has a son who is playing in the SEC conference, this year, at Mississippi State. Ooops....how inconvenient. It’s OK for his son to play, but not yours in the BiG10.

It’s not just Trump. I read an article a couple days ago, I think it was here on FR, that all the players and their families want to start playing again, because it’s guess what? That’s right, RACIST to not play. They were basically admitting that they were not there to get a degree, but were there just to make money in future pro sports.
Since the SEC. is playing it just makes the Big 10 look terrible.

Joe Biden has just put out an ad showing empty stadiums saying it’s Trump’s fault. What? Trump has been saying school and football should be a go for months. The ad is really strange.
They were set to shut down college football when Trevor Lawrence of Clemson said that nobody was asking the athletes who want to play.
Now Ohio State, Nebraska, and Iowa want to play. We should make room for them in the ACC or SEC. Let Nebraska rejoin Oklahoma in the Big 12. Notre Dame is already in the ACC. Would be some championship football.
I truly salute the Clemson Tigers. And I’m an Alabama guy.

10 of 12 college Presidents want to play ( $$$$) Michigan and Northwestern led the cancellation and everybody went along. Liberal hacks Whitmer and Pritzker control 4 of the 12 and want to damage Trump.

A November restart smells of ‘get Trump ‘ politics, but it’s silly to wait almost 3 months to begin play since they had been prepping before the shut down.
I predict they’ll play in the BIG10 and PAC12 late Sept. to get somewhat in sync with the other power 5s.
