A Twitter spokesman says activist and accused fraudster Shaun Kings threat to name Kenosha, Wisc., police officers is not in violation of its rules including its ban on a threat of harm against an identifiable group, a rule used to censor President Trump.
King tweeted Tuesday that the Kenosha Police Department must name the officer who shot Jacob Blake, or we will simply begin naming officers from your department who may or may not be him.
The former Daily News columnist has 1.1 million followers and the tweet was widely criticized as a threat against officers uninvolved in the Sunday incident. King who found notoriety for numerous outlandish claims in support of the Black Lives Matter movement has repeatedly praised rioters and has called for full defunding of the police.
But a Twitter spokesman told The Post Wednesday, The Tweet you referenced is currently not in violation of the Twitter Rules.
The spokesperson directed a reporter to information on Twitters policy against posting personal information, such as home addresses and contact information, and against glorifying violence, such as by celebrating violent crimes like mass-murder.
The Twitter rep did not explain how Kings tweet complies with a platform rule against a threat of harm against an identifiable group, which was used to censor Trump. They simply said of Kings posting: That tweet is not in violation of any of the Twitter Rules.

Jobs or mobs. Your choice 11/3/2020
Because, of course it’s not.
maybe when the offices of twitter burn down by thug rioters and their employee directory gets published
Isn’t it blackmail?
hopefully their dogma will get its karma
when twitters’ owners, directors, secretaries, janitors,
president, agents, stockholders are themselves
IRREVERSIBLY DOXed and then
sued for racism, censorship, and selling private data.
One hair on any of these officer’s head is harmed and Twitter, King, and Soros should be sued into oblivion.
It's about time that @Twitter @TwitterSupport permanently deplatforms and suspends @shaunking.— Mike - LV1 (@DaTruthofMikeP) August 26, 2020
Maybe we should say that Eric Ciaramella was one of the officers. Would Twitter ban that tweet?
Twitter can’t ban Shaun King...He’s a transrace leftist....
Mr. King had better re-think this. The people he is threatening have families & carry guns.
Keep pushing liberals blowback is coming.
Doxing acceptable. That correct, DorseyIdiot? Got it.
Starting a doxing campaign on you, GG.
Maybe that little prick would understand things a little
more clearly if his own home were in embers tomorrow
morning.
DOXing Twitter execs is probably okay too, then?
Twitter should be put out of business by the Feds for targeting people they don’t like for MURDER!!!!
Yes, I have a Twitter account for my business. But it is a very long time since that account was of any use to me at all! So I’ll be glad to say “bye-bye, Twitter! Bye-bye, @jack!!!!
Karma is a false god.
This is what it’s going to take before they stop playing this game. A direct and imminent, physical threat to Twitter employees. Otherwise it’s ‘just a myth’.
