Jacob Blake, the 29-year-old black man shot by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Sunday, was wanted on charges of sexual assault, among others, according to the Associated Press.
The AP reported Monday:
Online court records indicate Kenosha County prosecutors charged Blake on July 6 with third-degree sexual assault, trespassing and disorderly conduct in connection with domestic abuse. An arrest warrant was issued for Blake the following day.
The records contain no further details and do not list an attorney for Blake.
Another article from 2015 describes a Jason Blake, aged 24, who had to be subdued by a police dog after he resisted arrest following an armed altercation in a bar.

The cop is still going to get fired. His police career is over and his life will be ruined.
If the guy grabbed a weapon, or anything that looked like a weapon, the cop was probably justified in shooting him. The fact that he shot him seven times indicates to me that he was likely startled by something that caused him to think he was in immediate danger.
This whole happening is really hard to understand without more information.

So he was another scumbag who deserved what he got and the Left will make him a literal martyr.
The guy disobeyed numerous police orders. He moves to his car driver’s side door, opens the door, and then gets shot multiple times. If you were the cop, would you just stand there not knowing if he was reaching for a gun with which to shoot you?
As for me, I am fed up with this BS. An overwhelming percentage of crimes, far beyond the percentage of the US Black population, are committed by Blacks, and most of those crimes are Black on Black. Race relations, have gone in the toilet during the eight years that Obama was President. Blacks need to take a long and hard look in the mirror.
Let me guess, “turning his life around”. Cops cut his life short, grieving community throws fundraising bbq in his honor. When and if I retire I will take the advice of sage wisdom: “choose anywhere with absent Afro population”
I don’t understand why someone would ignore police commands.
There was something about his behavior that seemed familiar.
Then, I recognized where I’d seen that kind of behavior before.
It was on a basketball court.
He was emulating professional basketball players.
From what I can see, he reached into his waistband behind his back with his right hand and transferred an oddly shaped object - possibly a linoleum cutting knife - to his left hand and then went back to the car. When he leaned in, it looked to me like he was trying to put the object in the car, possibly to show he wasn’t a threat. There were 3 kids in the backseat, btw.
He had a warrant on him but sometimes people like that get irrational. If he had just surrendered, all would be well and he’d probably have been released 15 minutes later.
That said, I have no idea what made the cop shoot him if this was the scenario. But there may have been something else we haven’t seen, so we’ll have to wait for more details before condemning either one side or the other.

Hubby just heard on the radio that he was released from the hospital. Not confirmed by me yet. LOl.. the fools in Kenosha burned up at least 3 trash trucks. At a guesstimate of 500K a piece that’s starting to be real money.

Did the other cops fire their weapons? Apparently, not. Why don’t ask them why they did not feel a need to shoot before giving a medal to Barney Fife?
