Anti-police protests erupted Sunday night in Kenosha, Wisconsin, just hours after a police officer was filmed shooting a black man in the back as he tried to enter his car.
Crowds of protesters first gathered at the scene of the shooting — where 29-year-old Jacob Blake was struck several times in the back and seriously injured — before making their way to the police station, according to local reports.
Footage posted to social media shows protesters banging on the station house window, screaming “F–k the police.”
Police later deployed tear gas, TMJ4-TV reporter Lauren Linder tweeted.
In another clip posted to Twitter, protesters throw what appears to be molotov cocktails and bricks towards police standing near a patrol car.
One officer appears to get struck by a flying object, knocking him to the ground.
Elsewhere in the city, dump trucks and garbage trucks that were placed at intersections were lit on fire.
Blake was shot at about 5:10 p.m. local time after police responded to the location for a domestic incident.
The footage circulating on social media of the shooting shows two cops with weapons drawn trailing Blake as he walks to a gray van and opens the driver’s side door to get inside.
One of the officers then grabs him by the back of his tank top and appears to shoot him at close range. A fusillade can be heard, followed by a car horn, and bystanders screaming.
A family member told Milwaukee’s WTMJ-TV that Blake’s children were in the vehicle when cops shot their dad.

I told my son, to comply with the cops even if you think they are wrong, live to tell it to the judge.
But this is not good, and these cops should have not shot a non violent guy 7 times in the back.
Walking away is not escalating things.
It was a minor domestic squabble, Jebus people!

I’ve watched several such videos and noticed how it’s not like in the movies where one shot and the bad guy crumples over.
Sometimes the more drugged-up perps seem almost inhuman (as in zombified) for a few moments - they just keep comin’.
They’d do the same if it was a white guy.
Not justifying the shooting, but it is what it is.
Maybe they didn't have their masks on.
Police are trained to de esculate the situation.
Along with To, Too and Two, we should teach the difference among Rain, Rein and Reign.
A trail is in order, riots are not.
Apparently not so in Democrat-run cities, like Kenosha.

This is understandable. Since it was only hours after the shooting, peaceful protesters didn't have time to go to their local five-and-dime to get poster boards and pens. Peaceful protesting had to be expedited, and there wasn't the usual time to brain-storm slogans and words for posters. These Peaceful Protesters went straight to the mostly-peaceful molotov cocktails and bricks.
I'm sure after a full day elapses, with time during the day today to get to Walmart and art-supply stores, tonights Peaceful Protests will have the proper peaceful-protesting signage.
Is 2 acceptable? in numerical situations?
Our cops are thrown into that cauldron and events like this one will only increase unabated. What's the solution?. . certainly not standing on the periphery and going "tsk, tsk". . .otherwise why don't you put on the blue and strap on a weapon. Let's see how it's done when a suspect refuses commands with guns pointed in his direction. . going to his car to get what? Guess wrong and you're dead.

Every police shooting is national news until November. I actually am amazed that any cop would pursue a perp at this point. Just let them go. Why bother?
And THAT is what is at the root of 99.9999% of all violent altercations between police and blacks. Has anyone ever seen a video posted where the black person says, "Yes officer. I will (insert lawful command here)" and proceeds to do it?
