I told my son, to comply with the cops even if you think they are wrong, live to tell it to the judge.
But this is not good, and these cops should have not shot a non violent guy 7 times in the back.

Would outstanding warrants cause a person to resist arrest? Perhaps violently?
Part of confrontation management taught in police academies is that the first sign of a possible assault is non-compliance with verbal commands. Clearly that was occurring. Now, to Monday morning quarterback the situation, the officer could have holstered and then physically tackled the suspect. The problem is, however, we can’t clearly see if he had any sort of weapon which might preclude that action by the officer. What is also unclear is exactly what was inside that vehicle once the suspect was inside it? I can guarantee you that that information will be the last to come out if it indicates justification for the officer’s actions. Mr. Ellison in MN prevented the release of bodycam footage in the Floyd incident specifically to allow the media hyped scenario to become embedded in the BLM believer’s psyche. No reason to beleive the same won’t happen here.
