We need to become a little like people in sales. Be positive and act friendly with everyone we meet. Start at the intellectual level and beliefs of each person we meet, and move them little by little. Talk about or allude to one important issue (freedom, jobs, etc.).

Sympathize! If the person in front of you expresses hatred against the President, tell them something like, “Yeah. Looks like he’s going to be elected again, no matter what anyone does.” And go from there. ;)

On the same site, Rasmussen, Trump got 50 percent approval but the election poll among likely voters was 50 to 46 in favor of biden.

I don’t understand.

Maybe the election poll was just registered and not likely voters?

or are there insane people who like the job the president is doing but are going to vote against him anyway :)

Has any President with a 51% approval rating with less than 100 days to election ever lost their attempt to be re-elected?

Sorry, guys! NOT working. I blame Michael Clinesmith for removing that word from my post. That’s my point: if the GOP planned on doing something similar they need to be retooling

The Rasmussen poll does not have the history or the credibility to make such an assessment.

How can 51% approve yet only 45 or 46% support him in the polls vs Biden?

I think this obviously points to “silent” Trump voters.

“I hope that the RNC is a fast learner and is modifying their convention plans to have some showmanship and pizazz.”

Yes, and some actual substance would be a nice change from the DNC too. The Dem convention has been so amateurish, dull, and meaningless, just filled with platitudes, lies about Trump, bad settings, and cringe-worthy music. At the least, Trump and Pence better have real audiences when they give their speeches. Kamala’s looked so pathetic with no one there.

Polls are worse than meaningless. They are psy-ops. If you want to win, ignore the polls and work for your candidate as if he's 10 points behind.

Ignore opinion polls.

I thought you were being sarcastic — a very funny comment!

Just needed the /sarc tag ;-)

Rasmussen has Trump approval over 40% with blacks but only 10% will vote for him.

Wow. I never thought of that.

Black men did vote for him 18 percent last time.

That’s a Staggering number compared to the 4 percent of black women I think that voted for him.

Because of black women, it will be very hard to get black numbers that high.

People keep forgetting that the government is their baby daddy and their husband.

That will NEVER change.

I’m hoping he gets a quarter of the black male vote though

I expected Trump to peak within the next month. He heeds to get his approval numbers as high as possible before early voting starts, and keep them there until Election day.
