DONALD TRUMP has been heavily backed to beat Democrat nominee and former vice-president Joe Biden in the US election this November in an Express.co.uk poll, with one person warning he is "Americas last hope in maintaining its identity as land of the free".

US President Trump is seeking re-election but is facing strong competition from Mr Biden in the weeks leading up to the crucial national vote on November 3. Either candidate must gain at least 270 out of the 538 Electoral College votes in order to win the presidential election. Each of the 50 US states is divided into a different number of votes based on its population – with Florida carrying the most at 55 votes

Now Express.co.uk readers have overwhelmingly backed Mr Trump to defeat Mr Biden in November's presidential election.

The latest poll, which ran from 10am until 10.30pm on Tuesday August 18, asked: "Who will win the US election this November?"

A huge 80 percent (3,098 readers) backed current President Mr Trump to triumph, with just 17 percent (666 readers) confident Mr Biden could come out on top.

The remaining three percent (147 readers) were undecided.

and it clearly states that fact. That is why it is not BS. If you meant it's not scientific, that is irrelevant anyway since British citizens are not eligible to cast a vote in U.S. elections in the first place. They are just stating the reflection of the readers of their newspaper or whatever it is considered to be. Ultimately it means nothing more than an interesting sampling from their readers who chose to participate in their poll. Nothing more, nothing less.
