Pence: “Can’t wait” to debate Harris

I bet he’s looking forward to it too, and maybe even more than Mike Pence lets on here. Most of this interview with Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity last night consists of standard campaign fare. Pence calls Kamala Harris the most liberal member of the Senate (true) and provides a rundown of Team Trump’s arguments against Harris and Joe Biden. Pence does a good job of laying out those arguments with his usual polish, as one would expect from an experienced campaigner.

It’s his enthusiasm for the debate where Pence’s polish gives way ever so slightly to chops-licking:

Well, Pence has to be the mongoose to the evil cobra of the west...a.k.a. Wicked Witch of the West. The mongoose always wins. Let's HEAR IT for the mongoose!

100 percent true. My guess is Harris will do something with the (very wise in my opinion) rule Pence has about not being alone with a woman other than his wife. She will frame it as something about mistrust of all women or some such nonsense. The moderator will probably tee it up for her.

He can call out her lies, and reply and state facts.

She does NOT have facts on her side.....and, her own facts don’t count.

Another thing is to ask her to condemn riots, violence, communism and spying corruption, etc.

Get people thinking about specific Dem supported destruction of the country.

Pence has a record of care with and around women — during work, meetings, travel, campaigning. Pence is a Christian with a kind and caring core, I think.

Maybe he treats her like a confused sister, gently enlightening her about realities, being mildly amused by her rants.

Pence needs to be on the offensive, his persona is too complacent. The rats will take advantage of that fact.

Pence needs to be VERY aggressive and hit the Big Itch with every one of her previous comments.

Please seclude Mike Pence and make him memorize all of camel toes comments and have a proper response.

BTW - Why is the republican party not contesting her eligibility? take it to a Trump court.

I think the stories about the debate have already been written. The template is already set up.

The media reports will be that Kamala Harris won the debate and showed strong knowledge of the facts , and did a much better job in presenting the Democratic point of view. They will say on MSNBC that she was courageous in going up against the evil Republican vice president Pence.

No doubt. I looked to see who will moderate ANY of the debates and only found Hugh Hewitt, Maria Bartiromo, David Muir as possibles. I was very comfortable after seeing VP Pence on Hannity as I was afraid he’s too much of a gentleman to take on that viper Harris. I changed my mind as he was very succinct with no hesitation. I have never found him to be that great at answering questions before but he really hit the ball out of the park IMO. Relieved to see that.

Love Maria, not fond of Hewitt and Muir is tolerable.
