The Left legitimately doesn’t care. They’re already in the formative stages of creating enclaves where law is selectively enforced only against enemies of The Party. We’ve seen this throughout the world, over and over. Once the territory is claimed, they will do whatever is necessary to never cede it.
2016 was a colossal blunder for them. They were overly arrogant, and thought they could cruise through the election with a mere standard amount of shenanigans. They would continue the slow ratchet of tyranny through 8 years of you-know-who, at which point the capture of America would be incontestable - the Obama/Clinton/Chicago mob third-world weaponization of the Federal government against states, against localities, against the people.
The desperation you see is their sense that 2020 is their chance to overthrow the Republic, and they will try: first through quasi-legal means (i.e. incredibly brazen fraud) and failing that, violence.

I wonder if media hatred is so engrained that they are turning down money from Trump election ads just to keep up their non-stop hate. I watch Fox out here in New Mexico on TDS cable and at the end of commercial breaks have seen a second or two of a Trump ad that a commercial product ad replaced. As I’m typing this there is a lying Biden ad playing showing a daughter crying over her mother dying due to Trump’s lack of caring (barf). That’s what we are up against - even money might not be able to break through the media conglomerate.

But since most had areas with hispanic last names those areas were redistricted and assigned to Gutieriez’s district. There hasn't been much of an outburst based on FBI and other government actor slinging hoaxes around as credible innuendo before and after the 2016 election. The outcome of some 2018 elections was certainly changed by the DOJ-instigated corrupt endeavor of Special Council Mueller.
Just saying, the people appear to put up with terrible abuse by the government, and so far haven't done anything remotely resembling a purge.
