Earlier, Mayor Lori Lightfoot had warned looters who ransacked the city that they are being sought by police and angrily hit back at questions over whether a failure to prosecute those involved in the looting after George Floyd's death had created a sense of impunity.

The man whose actions sparked the unrest, 20-year-old Latrell Allen, was charged with attempted murder of police.

Allen, who had previous arrests for child endangerment, domestic battery and burglary, was confronted by police on Sunday afternoon and fled, turning around and shooting multiple rounds at officers as he fled. He was shot and injured by police, returning fire, and rumor then spread that a child had been killed by officers.

Social media was soon alight with rallying cries for protests and looting.

So can we kill looters if they have life insurance?

Black Lives Matter Chicago said early Monday's looting of stores was a form of 'reparations'

And one of my 5.56 to the head is a form of 'kissing'. Words have meaning. Most negroes can barely speak let alone know the meaning of words. Maybe we should give them a break. They just can't help it. (sarcasm)

Do they expect us to believe that they steal overpriced handbags and sneakers because they’re mad about racist cops?

So, they should be forced to earn those reparations?

“ ‘I don’t care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macy’s or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,’ Atkins said. ‘That makes sure that person has clothes. ‘Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance..”

Time to shoot the bastards.

Master-class levels of ignorance. This is what comes of a public school system in which kids are not taught the first thing about how an economy works because they're too busy being taught that every boy who puts on a dress is really a girl.

Individual owned and corporate chain stores will close and many will choose not to reopen.

They [Libs] complain of food deserts. After these kinds of incidents those deserts will likely increase to include drugstores and other types.

At least that will give them [Libs] something to complain about for the next few years.

Next stop: the suburbs. “You gotta move us there because there aren’t any stores around here...”.

BLM is an expanded version of the ole Jessie Jackson shakedowns.

Next will be frequent ‘payments for protection’ assessed by the thugs.

Social media was soon alight with rallying cries for protests and looting.

This is where Trump’s work to remove section 230 limitations will come back to bite Big Tech. Since Twitter and Facebook have taken it upon themselves to be ‘publishers’, then they become liable for the false information leading up to the protests.

Some hot-shot attorney should take this up as a class action.

Idiot...just an idiot.

Businesses won’t be insured long if this keeps up. Many will close their doors forever as insurers begin to refuse to insure them due to the behavior of the looters.

Not everything gets covered either ...much is simply taken as a loss ...

gah!! I hate idiots like this that have no idea how to operate a business.

BLM needs to be RICOed as a criminal shakedown organization. If you are calling for theft, you are no longer in the protest business, you are the Mafia.

What I find astonishing (I KNOW I shouldn’t, but I do) is the number of people, neighbors, corporations, churches, politicians, who not only support Black Lives Matter, but give it money in addition to the asinine signs they put up in support.

(I envy you folks who don’t see these effing signs where you live)

How would these people, neighbors, corporations, churches, politicians react if their house, church, or business was broken into during broad daylight under the view of the police, and the people not only destructively ransacked the structure and defaced it to make it uninhabitable, but removed or destroyed out of spite every single thing of value?

WE know full well how they would respond, they would respond as Useful Idiots always do, with shock. “I am down with the struggle...I support them, give them money...why would they do this? Why didn’t the police protect me?”

I would take great joy in shrugging my shoulders and saying “Hey, you were on board with this...it is reparations. You have no recourse. Suck it up.”

I can barely stand to be around people now.

Why would anyone be surprised. An entire generation or two have been given free stuff ranging from education to food to healthcare to phones and the list goes on and on. The gimmie culture is on steroids now.
