Black Lives Matter Chicago said early Monday's looting of stores was a form of 'reparations' as the group held a protest Monday night in support of the more than 100 people arrested after an evening of violence. Ariel Atkins, a BLM organizer, called the looting reparations.
'I dont care if someone decides to loot a Gucci or a Macys or a Nike store, because that makes sure that person eats,' Atkins said. 'That makes sure that person has clothes. 'Anything they wanted to take, they can take it because these businesses have insurance.'
Downtown Chicago was otherwise quiet after authorities cut off access, with drawbridges leading into the city pulled up and freeway exits blocked after riots sparked by a false rumor of a child shot by police. At least 13 police officers were injured as the violence claimed an estimated $65 million in property damage.

Good one! Best post yet ;>)
So, they should be forced to earn those reparations?
so why isn't this thing arrested already??? if it organized the riots/looting it should be in jail!!!
Democrats are stupid. Stupid people create destruction. It's all they can do.
Well put.
Even if insurance companies DID pay, it is tantamount to stealing from all of us because the insurance companies will pass the losses on to everybody who has insurance.
Trumps campaign needs to make these words a commercial yesterday!!!! Spend a billion and have it everywhere!!!!!
The two guys on the right look Middle Eastern, which begs the question, how vulnerable do these riots make this country to a terrorist attack?

Time to shoot the bastards.
Individual owned and corporate chain stores will close and many will choose not to reopen.
They [Libs] complain of food deserts. After these kinds of incidents those deserts will likely increase to include drugstores and other types.
At least that will give them [Libs] something to complain about for the next few years.
Hey corporate Amerika. This is what youve been supporting.
Next stop: the suburbs. “You gotta move us there because there aren’t any stores around here...”.
BLM is an expanded version of the ole Jessie Jackson shakedowns.
Next will be frequent ‘payments for protection’ assessed by the thugs.
“Individual owned and corporate chain stores will close and many will choose not to reopen.”
And...give the liberal, socialist left more fodder to blame “corporate America” for “leaving behind” those of color. Phffftt!
This is where Trumps work to remove section 230 limitations will come back to bite Big Tech. Since Twitter and Facebook have taken it upon themselves to be publishers, then they become liable for the false information leading up to the protests.
Some hot-shot attorney should take this up as a class action.
This is a serious situation. People are concerned about their safety. Officers are concerned about their safety. So dont bait us.
What were saying is, as a result of what happened last night, there have to be consequences.
Weve got teams of people that are aggressively out there identifying the people responsible, looking at the plates, and working on bringing them to justice.
But when we do, and we do make those arrests, our expectation is that is going to be treated with the level of seriousness that it should be, period.
She angrily denied that Foxxs decision, or any other ruling by the Chicago authorities, contributed towards the unrest.
Dont try to bait us, mischaracterize, pit one against the other, she said.
Were not playing that. Were in a serious situation here, and we need a serious response. Thats what were saying, period.
Mike Judge and Etan Cohen are like a two headed, modern-day Nastradamus. Were living through the performance art version of Idiocracy and Lightfoot is the guy that laughs at the suggestion that toilet water is better for plants than Brawndo.
So if someone pops this BLM organizer or the mayor its OK, they’re insured?
