We are likely to see a real change in modern cities and their roles in our lives.
And now business travel is little to none - that's devastating to the downtown. And, it brought a lot of money into lower economic areas in the city, now gone. So now these people are feeling more disgruntled and you have an imploding effect.

What needed is some Dialogue (Parts 1 and Two)

When the riots moved out of Grant Park onto Michigan Avenue, Mayor Daley sent Chicago Cops to block every entrance/exit on the Dan Ryan. Two of my Cousins were in the National Guard and stationed at Michigan & Randolph. They have some stories to tell!

Yes, tourist and business travel industries will be really impacted. I live an hour east of San Francisco and it has been many years since I have set foot in that forsaken city. I think major gatherings like conventions will think twice about visiting these Dem dumpster cities. The hospitality industry is also in for a reckoning.

Still holds up great after 4+ decades! If I was on a desert island it would be one of 5 albums I would want.

It's a race to the bottom between Groot and De Blabbio. Actually, there are a few horses in this race to nowhere.

Absolutely! Same here.
Before I left Seattle for my farm in KY, I used to kill time and money by shopping at estate sales in the Seattle area. This was 10-12 years ago - before vinyl became a thing again. I would go on half price Sunday and get boxes of records for around $10 a box. I ended up adding two more copies of this album to the one copy I bought when it first came out.
On a side note, I got a lot of Herb Alpert that way. :) Surprisingly, a good quality herb alpert and the TJB album is going for quite a bit in used record stores now. Weird.

It’s MYYYY kind of townnn.

I think you are absolutely correct. I've always felt that popping large bucks for a tiny apartment in Manhattan, or Chicago etc. was very risk - given that the true worth of these properties is markedly less. They only have value if people want to live there, and/or if people work there. If all of that changes substantially, those properties will drop in value precipitously - just like in midwestern and east coast town that lost their manufacturing base.
