As dictator-in-chief of NYC, he doesn’t need approval to do anything.
It’s that kind of mind-set that creates dictators like Hitler, and the people who voted for him would re-elect him if he could run again.
He ran for president and would have done similar things as president, and perhaps even rivaling Obama’s and Bubba’s criminal behavior. Ho doubt, he would have called for the criminalization of gun ownership and would have even gone as far as declaring the constitution as not legally binding when it comes to his edicts and behavior. In fact, he would have started down the road of declaring the republican party as illegal and would have banned it.

What he did was illegal. No different than if someone had painted over the traffic control lines. Exactly as illegal. deblobio has committed a crime, and deserves to pay the penalty.
He had someone arrested who painted over his sign (not a “mural” - murals are on walls). So he broke the law, and used the power of law enforcement to persecute and selectively prosecute an innocent person.

epoxy paint starts to set in about 3 minutes. 10 and it’s nice and hard. Not easy to paint fast enough, you mix one gallon at a time for 2 people with rollers working fast as they can go. You’ll still lose the last inch at bottom of can.
Do it around 2am, I’m betting cops would not intervene.
It’s a political slogan, and a fundraising mechanism for a political party. How would that conceivably be legal. Didn’t stop him, but plainly illegal.
