Operative word: was.
Not at all difficult to believe.
Secondary explostion (ammonium nitrate) was bigger than the first one (weapons). Oh, well.
Can 2.7 kilotons of ammonium nitrate really be called a weapon of mass destruction?
if you scroll down on the link there’s older video of Bibi giving a speech and talking about that same location being a guided missile mfg plant for Hezbollah
“Israel attacks Beirut with Weapon of Mass Destruction!!”

“Sorry we can’t come to the phone right now as we are having some technical difficulties. If you are calling to place an order for terror weapons, we are temporarily out of stock...”
Must’a bin d’at achmed the dead terrorist’s bruthah,
Hachflem!
I’m willing to guess that the explosives were destined for Hezbollah bombs and missiles.
But this article is deliberately false.
They say Netanyahu is pointing to the site of the explosion, but it’s 100% crystal clear that the spot he is pointing to is right next to the airport. He even says “here’s the airport”. The explosion happened on totally the other end of town.
I really hate idiot sites like CFP that take real news stories (like Netanyahu speaking about bomb factories in Beirut) and then lie through their teeth to get more clicks, and end up making the real news story seem suspect.
If Hezbollah were in charge of CFP this is exactly the sort of fake news article they would plant, and then point to when it later turns out that the explosives really were theirs.
Mohammad The prophet mad at Mosaad. Too many virgins needed too fast
BOOM!
It was 2,750 tons of fertilizer.
I am speculating that it was a Mossad operation. Would not take much to set off that much AN. Time delay micro bomb, flare or thermite would do the trick. Just need to get in and place it properly. Heck, if you know where it is at, putting a thermite grenade with a time delay fuse on the roof would do the trick in many cases.
I thought that was pretty obvious, regardless of the official response.
McVeigh’s OKC truck bomb used 13 drums of anfo, approx. 7,000lbs.............massive damage.
Too bad Lebanon didn’t have an OSHA operation.
They could have mandated “No Smoking” signs in the warehouse.
So we can attribute the cause of the explosion to a careless butt.
