Can 2.7 kilotons of ammonium nitrate really be called a weapon of mass destruction? Does the wild bear deposit "scat" in an arboreal environment??

Yes - is equivalent to small nuclear weapon in blast effect
Search TEXAS CITY EXPLOSION 1947 - Freighter being loaded with ammonium nitrate caught fire and exploded, set fire to another freighter filled with ammoniums bitrate fertilizer which exploded
Hundreds (some say thousands) killed in blasts and city was leveled
