ustice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, battling a recurrence of cancer, was hospitalized Wednesday to undergo "a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure" and likely will be released from the hospital later this week, the Supreme Court announced.
"Justice Ginsburg underwent a minimally invasive non-surgical procedure today at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City to revise a bile duct stent that was originally placed at Sloan Kettering in August 2019. According to her doctors, stent revisions are common occurrences and the procedure, performed using endoscopy and medical imaging guidance, was done to minimize the risk of future infection. The Justice is resting comfortably and expects to be released from the hospital by the end of the week," the release says.
The long-serving liberal icon, who has a history of medical problems, announced earlier this month that she is undergoing chemotherapy treatments for cancer that have been showing promising results.
"On May 19, I began a course of chemotherapy (gemcitabine) to treat a recurrence of cancer. A periodic scan in February followed by a biopsy revealed lesions on my liver. My recent hospitalizations to remove gall stones and treat an infection were unrelated to this recurrence," she noted in a July 17 statement.
"My most recent scan on July 7 indicated significant reduction of the liver lesions and no new disease. I am tolerating chemotherapy well and am encouraged by the success of my current treatment," she said.

I don’t know but they’re messing around with her liver. They wouldn’t be doing that if it wasn’t something serious.
At this point, I doubt she would be replaced before the election.
I realize liberals won’t let her leave the bench even after death..
But I do wish she would retire and live out the rest of her life in retirement.

Considering liver cancer, she might not be looking at six weeks. However, as I stated, it is all in God’s hands, so no one knows or can correctly predict. I am basing my ‘guess’ on the experiences of myself and others that I observed during the transplant protocol. I had my cancer successfully killed by a procedure called a chemical embolization, or by its acronym TACE, which is an effective treatment in some cases. But my time is not yet - nor is it Ginsburg’s until God says so. My MELD Score (the score used to determine the order of transplant implementation) was a 29 at one time. I suspect that Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s might be as high as 34, if she were young enough to have one. Anyone over 80 is not considered for transplant under current technology. Needless to say, her condition is being ‘guarded’ tremendously by the liberal press, who do not want her to die, ever.

That was my point. However, the procedure is done to relieve the juandice that she is undoubtably experiencing. That is based on my own personal experiences, and every patient is different. The whole point of posting the article was to circumvent the glee by some, and the lamentations of others who want her to die, or not. As I stated very clearly, ONLY God knows her hour of passing.
who knows. stints and re-stints are an attempt to stave off jaundice. If she knew a good lawyer, she could sue on the basis of receiving a bad stint the first time (just kidding).
All are put in their positions by the grace and knowledge of God, in my opinion. We might not always like His choices, but He has put them there for His own purposes (in my humble experience). It brings to mind Psalms 75:

So we have been given the ‘dregs’ in order for us to need to good wine.
