A New Jersey Staples shopper with her nose poking out of her mask pushed another woman to the ground, breaking her leg, after being told to keep her uncovered schnoz six feet away.
The social-distancing encounter unfolded just after 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday at a Hackensack location, where the unknown assailant improperly wearing a mask walked up a 54-year-old woman using a copy machine, police said.

The 54 year old was on the transplant wait list for 2 years. She is a single mom of 2 teenagers and a cancer survivor. Takes several immumosuppressant drugs and fesrs gettinv covid. Police told her older brother no outside cameras of parking lot
Typo fears getting
First, we were talking about something else, as an aside personal to us.
Second, I completely agree this demographic far overstepped bounds.
The initial report rather tipped me for her but especially seeing the film, the unmasked acted in typical privileged trigger-happy manner. And I don’t actually have any idea what the copier woman did to start it, going by film which starts too late.
Even if she did say something about 5he nose exposure, a smart retort would’ve been enough. Demographic definitely got right in her face from far away. Typical behavior of demographic.

No question this demographic aggressor (big shock) FAR overstepped her bounds, even if the victim was perfectly healthy.

Oh my Sal, so sorry to hear all the issues your family are going through.
I do wear masks inside almost always, mostly just to avoid being harassed. Around here we have lots of NAZIs, you know. I do much for my mom. We’ve both had trouble having the mask on for long time, as in groceries.
But I can now report my nephew had COVID due to Ocean City, probably gave it to his wife and MIL. Wife wasn’t tested but may have had it. Nephew had cold-like illness for few days. MIL got very stomach sick! But she is better now and never went to a hospital, BTW. Also my ex-SIL in CA had it, got over it. Probably got it from her son who wasn’t tested but again had some cold-like illness.
So that’s 3 definite cases which ultimately didn’t result in much horror. Then there’s my hubby’s employee, who had cystic fibrosis. He is now resigned, because the outlook is terrible...he needs lung transplant, so afraid he is a goner. But CF is terrible, and they don’t last long.
While I know some have had horrible outcomes, I’m still not seeing the Black Plague. And I don’t know how that compares to “regular flus”!
Give your mom a lift and let her know not nearly everyone gets it and dies, even my mom at 83 lots of COPD problems and breast cancer still goes out some with her mask and still hasn’t gotten anything. I do worry more about her than me, but there you go so far.
A lot of wild, crazy comments on this thread last night. Quite shocking. Mask no mask we can disagree. But anyone who watched that video and supports the aggressor is blind and heartless. I fear the 54 year old could die because of this event and rejection of the liver transplant.

Not sure, but I think that cane gesture is assault. If she used it it would be battery. Either one: Not good.

Meanwhile, we have small business constantly harassed because an associate “wrote something mean” on FB. But since it’s demographic protestors, the county won’t touch them. Words are more important to these commies than actions.

Watch the film. On the whole, there is no call for the special privileges demographic to behave the way she did, at all. The cane was later.
