(CNN)Joe Biden heads into the weekend weighing the biggest decision of his presidential campaign so far, and people close to the process tell CNN that the former vice president is believed to have now begun to narrow his personal shortlist of potential running mates to a handful of women.
In more than two dozen interviews with CNN in recent days, members of Congress, top Democratic donors, Biden allies and others close to the vice presidential vetting process said California Rep. Karen Bass, the 66-year-old chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, has gained real traction in the late stage of the search. Amid furious last-minute lobbying and speculation about Biden's historic decision, California Sen. Kamala Harris and Susan Rice, Barack Obama's former national security adviser, are also believed to be among the most serious contenders.

Dementia Joe isn't deciding anything. This is pure theater. The same people who told Klobuchar and Petey boy to withdraw just before Super Tuesday and told Warren to stay in are the ones deciding. They're not going to let a senile old man make such an important decision. The DNC overlords want a handpicked stooge they can have total control over. Because if Biden becomes 46, his VP is guaranteed to be 47 in short order.

Like Cameltoe, Bass is from California so adds no electoral votes. She’s also homely as a fence post, and a reparations baby. Trump will ignore Biden and run against an unknown.

Bass is heralded as speaker of the California house and her ability to work with legislators, but as you may remember, it’s nothing but Ds in the Cali legislature...no skill involved there, and little need to work with anyone but like-minded legislators.
She brings no sizzle to the ticket, so I wish her well.
It’s becoming clear Harris would be suspected of neutering a Biden Prez....or something more devious. Not to be trusted.
It’s all mental gymnastics anyway. A Biden / ( ? ) ticket does not have a prayer.
