Some think the packages [of seeds marked as "jewelry"] could be part of a "brushing scam" an effort to create fake customer reviews on online retail platforms but that appears unlikely. For one thing, there is no indication these seeds there are several varieties of them are either branded or are offered for sale.
"DO NOT plant them," officials in every state have warned.
There is also an infamous statement attributed to General Chi Haotian. In a secret speech to senior Communist Party officials sometime around 2002, Chi, then the Chinese defense minister, stated there was a need for "new living space" because of the exhaustion of existing Chinese territory. Chi suggested the "mass colonization" of the land occupied by United States as the best option.
"We are not as foolish as to want to perish together with America by using nuclear weapons," he said. The way to "clean up" the U.S., Chi argued, would be through biological attacks.
[snip] Residents in all 50 states have received packages of seeds, sent unsolicited from China. Many of the packages, mailed through the Chinese state-run postal system, were mislabeled as "jewelry" for U.S. Customs purposes.
DO NOT plant them," officials in every state have warned.
"They could be invasive, meaning they may have the potential to introduce diseases to local plants, or could be harmful to livestock," the Montana Department of Agriculture noted in a statement on Monday, referring to the Chinese seeds. "Treat them like they are radioactive, like they are Kryptonite," said Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller.
Trump administration officials now need to ask one question: Are the seeds a biological-warfare attack on the United States?
I do take Gordan Chang seriously....
I want my Chinese seeds and I want them now.
They’re totally pot seeds.
Badass GMO pot seeds like seven feet tall in a week.
What else would Gordon Chang say?
Bkmrk
The ChiCom seeds are deadly; if planted, that grow more Demonicrats.
We could send them our GMO’s.
There will be people who plant them just out of curiosity.
You know how it all got started!
People just aren’t seeing the signs.
The red squirrels in particular sure are fattening up. The 40# bags are from Wal-Mart. Chinese seeds? I really should check the label!
And then there may be a return of the Day of The Triffids.
If this story is even true ... then what are the results of tests on the seeds?
See “The Americans,” Season 5, Episode 2, “Pests.” The Soviets are afraid that U.S. agricultural research is creating bugs that would wipe out the USSRs food supply.
What about the Chinese spies, already here, that will do their part to bring down America, one seed at a time.
The bag I’ve seen were obviously from some sort of citrus.
So, if you plant them where it is cold in winter I can’t see a problem.
What did they use to obtain addresses?
"You Americans are going to have to grow your OWN food because OUR DAM IS ABOUT TO BREAK"
Or to harm the US.
“If this story is even true ... then what are the results of tests on the seeds?”
Exactly. By now state departments of agriculture, and the USDA, must have received samples for evaluation. It is difficult to understand how the government does not know what these seeds are by now.
The same databases the Indian/Pakis scammers use. Everything is online.
