A man captured on surveillance video smashing windows at a Minneapolis AutoZone in the wake of George Floyd’s death is a Hells Angels member bent on stirring up social unrest, police said.
Nicknamed “Umbrella Man” for his all-black getup that included a hood, gas mask and black umbrella, police said the man’s actions led to arson -- the first of several that sent peaceful protests into chaos.
Police identified the 32-year-old suspect through a tip last week. Minneapolis police spokesman John Elder told the Associated Press Tuesday he could not confirm the name of the person involved, but said the investigation remains open and active.
“This was the first fire that set off a string of fires and looting throughout the precinct and the rest of the city,” Minneapolis police arson investigator Erika Christensen wrote in a search warrant affidavit this week, according to the Star Tribune.
The riots spread to other parts of Minneapolis and St. Paul, and caused an estimated $500 million in damage. At least two people died — one a man who was fatally shot at a Minneapolis pawnshop and another whose burned body was found in the ruins of another pawnshop.

Exactly. They either have NO IDEA who it actually is, OR they located the person, and have paid him off generously to leave town and keep his identity secret. So they can tell the world he’s a Trump supporter, with nothing to dispute that claim.
It’s quite possible the guy was a Hell’s Angel and all the rest the reports claim. People forget that “War makes strange bedfellows.” So you can have various factions with radically different philosophies who believe the only way for their version of Utopia to advance is the destruction of the current social order and government.
So if that means an uneasy alliance and taking advantage of a situation that is contradictory to your own goals such as rioting at the death of Black man in hopes it will lead to some Charlie Manson type race war fantasy-so be it. Whatever road leads to unrest, government failings, and the rise of the ISM of the day is the road these people will take.
Just like Antifa and other radicals have piggybacked on the people who truly were peacefully protesting. It’s how to run a revolution 101.

Remember the curious case of the Las Vegas shooting, the largest mass shooting in US history? It was in all the papers ... for a week or so and then it has never been mentioned again. Weird guy with some shady international connections and wife and all that, remember?
