For a few minutes yesterday, a portion of POLITICO's profiles about Joe Biden's potential Vice President picks had Kamala Harris listed as the choice, including a quote from the announcement.

I have no knowledge, but this seems like an error, not a leak. It is very common for publications to pre-write news stories, based on things that might happen. Perhaps this was one of those that was posted accidentally for a few minutes. I once knew the guy who did the covers of People magazine, he had covers ready for the deaths of over 100 celebrities who were very much alive.

Probably just a trial balloon to gauge acceptability. I think Biden will not make it to the convention due to health issues. Look for a smokey back room deal to pick someone not currently in the VP stakes.

I don't know if she is all that popular even in CA. Her “win” of the CA AG post was a post-election mail-in. The wokesters hate her being a law enforcement officer. Planned Parenthood loves her for helping them punish Center for Medical Progress, but she didn't get any significant support as a presidential candidate in the primaries. Add that her grandma (or great grandma?) was a slaveholder. That should age well.
