President Trump announced from the White House Thursday afternoon the RNC convention in Jacksonville has been canceled.
Citing the ongoing battle against Wuhan coronavirus, President Trump said it is his duty to protect the American people and the timing of the event isn't going to work.
The announcement comes after the Republican National Committee moved the convention from Charlotte, North Carolina to Jacksonville in June because of ongoing reopening restrictions.

The RINO mayor of Jax got what he wanted. First he imposed a mask order, so they were going to move most of the events outside withi only limited indoor attendance on the last night. Then he decided that the sheriff wouldn’t be able to protect the attendees from the demonstrators who would show up.
So essentially Curry forced them to cancel it.
So now he is playing into the hoax narrative.

The presstitutes were already playing the game of finding the Republican officials who would decline to attend. They would have featured Antifa protestors over the convention speakers. They would probably have trolled the hospitals to find anyone with the virus who attended the convention. Just take the issue away from them.
I’m glad I didn’t buy plane tickets . I’m an alternate and was already just told last week I could only go on the last day. Such a shame. Trump is in a hard position. So many republicans are not really republicans . Oh well . The food at the one in Cleveland you had to choose from while you were there all day sucked .
Heck, Jacksonville can’t figure out how to get their schools open in a couple of weeks. Not that surprising the city can’t pull this off...

Physical conventions are dinosaurs. Just televise the speeches. It would have been preferable for Trump to get ahead of the curve on this and announce months ago the convention is cancelled. But it what it is.
