The U.S. Chamber of Commerce sued the Department of Homeland Security seeking to throw out immigration restrictions, including those placed on H-1B visas issued to highly skilled workers with expertise in specialty fields [precious few of those; most H-1Bs are diploma-mill fake-resume drones - NF].
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in San Francisco on Tuesday, argues that President Donald Trump exceeded his authority last month when he temporarily halted access to several employment-based visas, affecting hundreds of thousands of people seeking to work in the U.S.
The Chamber seeks to overturn these sweeping and unlawful immigration restrictions that are an unequivocal not welcome sign to the engineers, executives, IT experts, doctors, nurses, and other critical workers who help drive the American economy [corporate globalist lie - NF], Chief Executive Officer Thomas J. Donohue said in an emailed statement.
Trumps order freezes new H-1B and H-4 visas, used by technology workers and their families, as well as L visas for intracompany transfers and most J visas for work- and study-abroad programs, including au pairs, through the end of the year.
The case is Chamber of Commerce of the United States of America v. U.S. Department of Homeland Security, 20-cv-04887, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California.
Now we see who the real enemy is to hard working Americans and educated Americans out of work.
How so?
Since they are not actually directly affected by this they have no standing.

I guess the U.S. in Chamber of Commerce means nothing to Donahue and the boys, huh?!!!

Does it say how he “exceeded his authority?”
Hopefully the Feds will be placing their best legal talent on this. NO SABOTEURS, please.
See I told you, that we probably agree on more than we disagree on. 8>)
Chamber of Commies.
Hire Americans. They are out there.
The United States Chamber of Commerce, like all their globalist America Last ilk, are traitors chasing the poison dream of cheap labor.
People should have taken Buchanan’s advice decades ago.
Americans get hired first.
THEN, *IF* there is a need, hire foreign nationals.
God forbid that we have to hire Americans! Or educate them. They are deplorables after all, not fit to become engineers, scientists, or technologists.
H1B visa-slaves (no Dalits though) and illegal immigrant labor are what this country needs.

These are exactly the people we elected Trump to stop.
Most Americans want the Cheap Labor Express to be derailed permanently.
I’m not against foreign labor when necessary. I’m against CHEAP foreign labor. Let them have all the H1b’s they want. Just charge a fee for each one that ensures it is MORE EXPENSIVE to hire a foreigner than it is to hire an American for the same job. That way they will only hire superstars and when there is an actual critical shortage in an area. They certainly won’t try to flood the country with foreign workers if they’re more expensive to employ than an American.
Trump needs to hammer hard on “American jobs for Americans” - it’s a campaign winner.
