CHINA ON MONDAY WARNED the U.S. not to conduct any further military escalation in the South China Sea as both countries dramatically ramp up the presence of their armed forces in the increasingly contested region.
Days after the U.S. redeployed two aircraft carriers to the region in move seen as highly rare and, to China, provocative Chinese state media on Monday confirmed it had sent a brigade of aviation forces to two islands it administers in the contested Paracel Archipelago along with a series of warships. They plan to conduct "live-fire maritime target attack drills" in response to the heightened U.S. military presence there, which China claims "is the real pusher of militarization in the South China Sea."
"If U.S. military provocations in the South China Sea persist, China could be left with no choice but to conduct more drills and deploy more warships and warplanes in the South China Sea," reported China's Global Times, which is not a direct mouthpiece of the Chinese Communist Party but is seen as aligned with its views. It added that China may also establish aerial defense zones around territory it considers its own akin to those that have prompted contentious standoffs with the U.S. in the past.

and China is not the Adult in the area
A sad situation that China has achieved military superiority.
A sad situation that China has achieved military superiority.
Theyve done no such thing.
L
Not hardly.
It looks like China is watching US Fake Stream News and believes this small minority of BLM, Antifa and anarchists define this country.
It happened once before and a prescient general said: “We have waken a sleeping giant and filled him with terrible resolve”
I fully believe that the global/romney/biden corporatist complex is telling the chinese to engage the U.S. Navy so as to help in the coup against President Trump, with promises of full America capitulation to whatever romney’s mandarin overlords demand once PJT is replaced.

“A sad situation that China has achieved military superiority.”
Are you serious? Or are you abysmally ignorant?

A hot navy war with China would solve a lot of problems. First, It would end the scourge of FREE TRADE. We would be forced to become self sufficient in everything again. Nationalism would dominate politics as it should. Finally globalist Free Traitors would be hung or put in concentration camps. Where’s the down side?
It’s time to deploy a 3rd carrier.
The US is at a major logistics disadvantage anywhere in the South China Sea. All carriers would have to stand off at least 300nm to avoid the massive anti-ship missiles and US air cover needs to spend time protecting AWACS from the Chinese J-20s.
The South China Sea is not part of China’s normal holdings,
so it has a lot of nerve saying another nation shouldn’t
be able to be there.
Stuff it China. You knew this was coming. If you didn’t
you’re simply evidencing you’re not the world’s most
brilliant group of national leaders.
China has massive problems right now with huge floods. Wuhan could be mostly under water by the end of this week. The world’s largest dam which ought to be as good as any other Chinese-made product is in danger of outright collapse, with over 400 million people downstream in danger of being washed away. Their government paints a rosy picture but reality is brutish and disagrees with every official account. They won’t move their people out of harm’s way. I pray it doesn’t happen but hope for the best and prepare for the worst. How will the media blame it on Trump? They will, somehow.
300 NM? So what?
The F18 and F35 each have a range of about 2000 NM.
Then we have the cruise missiles which have a range of 1500+ miles.
Like I said, so what?
That is where the destroyer screen comes into play.
