Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered every county in California to close indoor restaurants, movie theaters and wineries Monday as the state combats a surge in coronavirus cases.
He also ordered bars to cease all operations, indoor and outdoor, throughout the state.
Newsom had previously directed 30 counties on the state’s “watch list” due to surging outbreaks to close business operations in those sectors. But Newsom said the order will now extend to all 58 California counties.
Newsom’s statewide closure order applies to a host of other indoor spaces: zoos, museums, cardrooms and family entertainment centers. Those establishments are still allowed to operate outdoors in most counties, including restaurant patios.
In addition, Newsom ordered the 30 counties on the state watch list to close gyms, churches, offices for non-critical work sectors, shopping malls and barbershops and hair salons.

Fake fear response to fake surge.
The illegals have been surging into California for 2 reasons:
1. Annual return of seasonal workers from Mexico. They have overfilled the few legal dorms set up. So they are sleeping with friends. That drives the CV counts up high with sometimes a dozen or more at the same hot bunk address.
2. Many know they are sick with the CV19, and to get treatment they come to California, Arizona and Nevada. So our hospitals icu’s are going from basically vacant to nearly full.
Recent data shows that Hispanics are impacted more often with CV19 and have more serious complications with the virus.
Texas and New Mexico are getting slammed by #1 & #2 above.
Floriduh is getting over ran by CV19 carriers and its stats are going through the roof. It is probably a sure bet that their new surges are basically Spanish speaking people.
I’m sure all the Dem politicians were alerted to short the market before the announcement

I looked into it a bit. While he did close dine in restaurants and bars and gyms, grocery and liquor and hardware etc remain open. So it is not constitutional.

What I continue to fail to understand is how this benefits them electoral college wise even if they are right that the dodos in California will for some reason vote democrat. When Democrats are killing them.

The extreme lockdown is necessary in californication because governor Newsome is part of Nancy Pelousy’s family. She couldn’t have her home state governor and nephew fail to help implement her Democrat campaign strategy.
