Not really. Liberal champagne will be flowing. This was always what they wanted. Trump is their real target and not Stone. Now they spin about cover-up, obstruction of justice, etc.
Mark Levin said Trump is getting bad advice by refusing to pardon Stone and Flynn. I get not pardoning Flynn for optics sake, but Stone really got a strap-on up the wazoo.

Good. Although, I expected the president to drag the drama out until Sunday, or even July 13th, Monday evening, the day before Stone was due to report to jail.

Mixed feelings. Stone is, frankly an idiot for agreeing to meet / talk with Congress and then making false statements to investigators.
LTG Flynn was more deserving off a pardon or commutation when his situation was different, but I do see why President Trump commuted Stone’s sentence. With that said, I hope Stone just slithers off. He craves media attention, and is does not a help to the Trump reelection.
