I love the Sacramento Bee because I always have to check carefully whether their articles are from competitor https://babylonbee.com/ .
For crime stories, the Bee mentions race ifbperp is Latino, Asian, white, middle eastern, but says nothing if perp is black. Seems racist to me..
They won’t be mentioning race too often then :-)
Only white peoples’ mug shots from now on.
Because in the real world where people actually live, too many of the criminals are black or minority, according to the papers’ biased viewpoint.
Papers are looking for ways to be less useful and informative to their readers.
Lo and behold they found another way.
One of the big papers in NJ was doing this years ago (when people read newspapers), and it had the opposite effect - if there was no picture, readers assumed the perp was black.
Otice how the paper isnt concerned at all that a disproportionate amount of criminals are minorities?
You really have to wonder why that doesnt bother them.
Eveything in the world bothers these parent basement dwelling snowflakes.
It bothers them that nuns dont want to offer insurance that provides for abortion services, yet the fact more minorities commit crimes than whites, that doesnt trigger them, just having to report it triggers them.
I know why, its rhetorical.
Translation: Mugshots give an accurate snapshot of who is committing crimes.
Only if they’re white, right?
So, public records are being kept secret? Is that legal?
The Sac. Bee is a newspaper that has just declared it will withhold news from its readers. Everyone knows that the mugshots are predominately “people of color”. This might lead the reader to conclude that most criminals are “people of color”. We can’t have that, so we just won’t show mugshots.
This will force the reader have to read his ‘news’paper like a citizen of the Soviet Unionfilling in the left-out bits on his own. At some point, they will have to also stop printing the names of arrestees for the same reason. Instead of Ta’Shawn Wilson, it will read, “Sacramento police arrested one T. Wilson”. But like the USSR, no one will be fooled and the Bee will wonder why it’s losing readers.
It is called confirmation biased... emotional decision makers subconsciously seek out results that confirm their world view rather than evaluate the data and make decisions from there:
Well Sacromento Bee won{t have to wait long since 95 percent of BLM is made up of poor white fat girls with no to low self’esteem.
Then you will know by lack of mention of race what the race is.
So now people can just disappear by the police state?
They are not thinking this one through.
While a mug shot may not be the most pleasant thing, at least it is a record for friends and family to verify you are in custody.
Yes that’s pretty much the default opinion now; also when they call them “teens” or “youths” you don’t, as we say, have to look.
