The poor West Vancouver Police are having to waste their time on a report of tire marks "tarnishing" the new Pride crosswalk in West Vancouver.

A police video posted by NewsTalk 1130's Sonia Aslam shows police video of a black vehicle that is "suspected of leaving tire marks across a portion of the pride crosswalk at the intersection" outside of the police station.

Well, how DO you lay down a tire track that is so distinct without putting paint on the tire? On a hot day, you might pick up some tar from blacktop, especially if it was recently laid, or perhaps by revving the engine and spinning the wheels, but the track seemed too well-defined to have been created that way.

But who would go to the trouble to dab paint on their tire? It would be far easier just to dump paint on the crosswalk if you found it offensive.

Check the security cameras, look for a woman with really short hair wearing a flannel shirt with the sleeves cut off driving a Subaru forester with a Clinton 2016 bumper sticker.
