Northam is going to try and outlaw “assault”weapons, ie AK 47s and AR15s along with all semiauto pistols in a special session in August. It looks like his plans would criminalize the mere possession of such weapons, so a huge clash is coming.

.....agree....! this SOB tried to push through an “assault weapons” ban but was stopped in his tracks...he will NOT give up...this is going to be one helluva fight...and a ban on private gun sales went into effect on July 1st, even such sales at gun shows...heck; probably a quarter of my own, private arsenal of guns was bought via such private sales at gun shows when I lived in Virginia...! ah, those good ol’ days....

Maybe I imagined it.

Virginia really cracked down on gun laws beginning JUly 1.

Thank you Northam, demoKKKrats, Antifa and BLM for helping all the FFL's in Virginia have a profitable June!

Anything magazine fed would be made illegal, maybe revolvers would not be covered. If Northam get his dreams, the populace will be stripped of their ability to defend themselves from the ability to defend against the tyrant.

Yes, I saw that! Gives me some level of hope that people on both sides of the aisle are recognizing the value of the Second Amendment. I may not agree with the BLM people on much, but if they’re ready to stand up against infringements on our 2A rights, I’ll take the help in beating back new unconstitutional laws.

I can't imagine that will go over well. Maybe the voters will wake up.

The only kind of person who wants to strip people of their ability and their right to stand against tyrants are tyrants. The moment a politician or a judge or anyone else in power takes a stand against unrestricted civilian firearms ownership, I know everything about that person I need to know. And what I know is that person should never be trusted with an ounce of authority.

DC keeps demanding statehood. They already have it: Virginia.

Oh we’re awake!
One of the draconian laws he passed was to require that lost or stolen firearms be reported within 48hrs. So, if I’m hunting in Alaska and lose my gun in a boating accident, and I’m way out in the wilderness. How do I report this in 48hrs? I lost my boat, remember. By the way, I thought we didn’t have gun registration. Sure........

It seems to me the problem is if you buy a firearm and don’t learn how and when to use it, it will work against you.

More than guns, Virginians need to show up to vote.

I am guessing U-Haul rentals reached record levels in Virginia as well.

What’s left to buy? Anything worth having is “out of stock”.
