Oddly I had to go to one as part of my job.
You didn’t strike me as a “bad music and a park full of potheads” kind of guy.
They weren’t the only ones playing though so I suppose that many of those guests were there for someone else.
My neighborhood is very conservative with many retired military. Within one mile of my home are 5 private rifle ranges one of which is mine. We live out in the countryside. I often hear pistol and rifle fire. It is the sound of freedom. We will not go quietly in the night. If troubles came our way we would quickly organize. There is no violent crime in our neighborhood from outside nor inside.
I’ve grown up with hard rock. When my son wished to see Slipknot in his early teens I gladly played chaperone. Since then I’ve seen them multiple shows and they’ve never disappointed. Same with Disturbed. I’m deplorable. Sorry not sorry.

You have good taste in music. My two are 13 and 15. They’re into Maiden, Dio, Scorps and AC/DC. Mama won’t let the listen to my stuff. Slayer, Testament, Pantera etc. Too hard she says.
