Fifteen-year-old Claudia Conway, daughter of Kellyanne Conway and conservative anti-Trumper George Conway, might have just made the holiday weekend a bit tense in the family home: After dad George tweeted to journalists to “desist” from communication with his minor children, the newly outspoken Claudia (or her Twitter account, anyway) responded, ‘you’re just mad that i’m finally getting my voice heard.”
Then her kicker: “sorry your marriage failed.”

Shutting off her access? Making it clear they are not to be filmed in their house as she is doing her live broadcast and then taking her phone away when she does it.

I do. I was one of them. That’s a dirty trick that has been played on us for decades. We get ourselves all emotionally caught up in “our” guy or gal when they have no esteem for us at all.
You would think that, but it’s nearly impossible to keep teenagers away from the Internet when they’re determined. There are far more web-enabled devices than one realizes until this sort of thing happens. When you think you’ve taken everything away, their friends will give them more. They will sneak, they will steal, they will intimidate their younger siblings.
They all agree to believe and promote each other’s lies about the horrible monsters who have provided them with the easiest life in the history of the world.

Hans Blix was lampooned by Rush and by Freepers, even while they worshipped W. But we know now that Blix was wise while W was a fool. Blix was on the ground in Iraq and he pleaded with Bush not to invade because Blix’s team was being allowed to inspect and they hadnt found WMDs. He pleaded for more time to look
Bush ignored and invaded. Then, after thousands of US dead, Bush went to a White House reporters dinner and made fun of the fact we didn’t find WMDs, he crawled around under a table “looking for them”. A lot of yucks that gave to the widows and orphans of the fallen, and the tens of thousands who lost arms, legs or eyes.
There are still Freepers who claim Saddam had WMDs when Bush originally told us he did, never mind that Bush and Cheney later said they were wrong and there weren’t WNDs. These freepers don’t answer when asked, “Then why didn’t Saddam use them to fight for his regime and his life? And if they did exist but he wasn’t going to use them to defend his own life, then what in the hell danger were they, because apparently he would never use them?”
Bottom line: W was worst. Republican. President. Ever. The fact that the nevertrumpers are almost to a man protégés of W only confirms that

Raising children (especially daughters) is hard enough when the parents are generally on the same page but it’s much more difficult when they’re not.

I remember how depressed I was on election night 2012. I thought Romney would win and was bitterly disappointed. I turned off the TV and listened to Mahler's 9th symphony (a symphony about death & despair) twice through that night. I finally had to take half of one of my wife's Xanax's to get to sleep.
