For healthy young people the chance of dying is close to zilch. However, the benefits of having the antibodies are significant.
When I was young moms had mumps and chickenpox parties for kids. We got over it and were mostly immune for when we were older and at higher risk.
KIds are doing what kids have done since forever. Youthful defiance of authority is what this is.
They have little risk of any serious consequences and they can show off as being “bad” meaning in this case tough and courageous even as we look at them as foolish..
This is something I would have done in my youth, a youth filled with bad decisions that I survived and actually learned from.
we used to do this with chickenpox. Best to get it when your young, can be deadly as an adult.

Scientifically speaking, this is not a bad idea. Get coronavirus now while you’re young and healthy and get the antibodies to protect yourself later in life.
This is the next best thing to doing the actual best thing in a fight against a virus like CV19:
Instead of falsely scaring Americans into destroying America, we should have subsidized an extended Spring Break. Long enough to get them all infected, resolved and immune.
Kids have extremely little chance of being harmed by the virus themselves and even less chance of running into grandma on Daytona Beach in the spring.

How about next time ( should be in about 10 minutes ) we go on offense instead of all just pissing on Freedom and becoming Below-Ground Bidens?
