I seriously am at a loss. What is currently going on in this country is what invading and conquering armies do to those they defeat.

I’m reading more now because we’ve reached peak virtue signaling by a bunch of elites who like their unwashed masses sorted into neat little rows so I guess they can be assured of uniformity.
This has caused social media bubbles with too many like-minded people seeking increasing levels of consensus and becoming increasingly intolerant of dissent. The way to fight this is to do the opposite. Groupthink bubbles can pop like a soap bubble, I’ve seen it happen.

"Violence" is, in a sense, not violent if it supports the struggles of oppressed people in the racist US. A Deplorable can be a "terrorist" but a President cannot declare Antifa is terrorist.
Tearing down someone else's "property" such as a bust or a statue (one was from a museum front area, many are from publicly owned taxpayer supported areas and many were paid for by taxes or group fund raising) is acceptable due to the feelings of overcoming oppression that engenders.
President Trump is a "racist" by saying Kung Flu which implies the Asian race of Communist Chinese spread the deadly virus that killed people and also ruined the economic status of millions for months. Same with illegal aliens who thus are a "race" since some are Mexican or Latinx. and they "undocumented" people emigrating as immigrants (illegally) despite laws on the books about how to do it legally.
I pointed out to my kids that their mother and I worked to move to the suburbs where they could wallow in their white privilege instead of living in the hell hole city we came from.

Crosses, statues, old pieces of parchment, historical place names, books, etc. All just inconsequential things not worth defending, right? If you’re waiting for that “big event” that will finally cross your threshold of significance, you’re going to wake up one day very soon wondering where America went. Maybe then you will be ready to fight, but it will be too late.
THAT is how the left succeeds in spreading evil. Incrementalism. No single insult is ever quite enough to motivate patriotic Americans to rise up, but then a point is reached where people suddenly wake up and say, “Where did my country go?” It’s similar in a way to how crime runs wild when the justice system ignores small infractions. We need to apply a version of “broken windows” policing to the relentless destruction of America. ZERO TOLERANCE!

Russian Orthodox Church condemns toppling of statues to American slave holders
Moscow, June 20, Interfax - Head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate Metropolitan Hilarion believes that toppling of statues in the USA is an attempt to rewrite the history.
“We certainly should not project modern standards to the past. Thus the Russian Orthodox Church official responded to mass dismantling of monuments in America to people who had to do with slavery, which commenced on the back of the protests against murder of Afro-American George Floyd by a policeman in Minneapolis.

Most of these mayors and governors are in with these thugs. They agree with the destruction of our country.
Even the presumptive presidential nominee for the democRATic ticket, Joe Biden, is down for the cause.
This just emboldens the mob.
If someone tried to pull down a statue of say Pushkin or a Russian notable, they would get their ass kicked by the locals.
