NASCAR said it is investigating after a noose was found in the garage of black driver Bubba Wallace on Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway in Lincoln, Alabama.
"Late this afternoon, NASCAR was made aware that a noose was found in the garage stall of the 43 team. We are angry and outraged, and cannot state strongly enough how seriously we take this heinous act," NASCAR said in a statement. "We have launched an immediate investigation, and will do everything we can to identify the person(s) responsible and eliminate them from the sport.
"As we have stated unequivocally, there is no place for racism in NASCAR, and this act only strengthens our resolve to make the sport open and welcoming to all."

They know that NASCAR is one of the few sports running live, so it's natural that someone would target it for the negative publicity. They'd do it to the PGA, too, except that pro golf is a much more exclusive event that takes place in locales inaccessible to ANTIFA thugs.

So many reports of nooses, and they always turn out to be BS. Some drama queen finds a piece of rope somewhere and immediately calls a press conference. The percentage of people today who would even know how to tie a noose must be vanishingly small.
Today was Race Day, postponed until tomorrow due to rain. I calculate a 100% probability that Bubba Wallace's garage stall at Talladega has an extensive video surveillance system. The entire complex has crazy surveillance and security.
