An arrest warrant has been issued in the murder of Dominique "Rem'mie" Fells, a Philadelphia black transgender woman. Authorities believe 36-year-old Akhenaton Jones is responsible for Fells' murder, according to CBS Philadelphia.
Fells' family is hoping anyone who knows Jones' whereabouts will come forward. "Turn him in! This was a gruesome death," Fells' aunt, Germyce Williams, told CBS Philadelphia. "How anybody could do this to another human being is just so heartless and cruel. No mother should have to go through this, and I'm speaking for my sister-in-law.

Aren’t all murders “heartless and cruel”? Or only politically incorrect murders? “Heartless” and “heartbreaking” are overused words that everyone feels compelled to use ad nauseam nowadays.
No, this guy is a real sicko. He bashed in the face and head after mutilating the torso. Then for a grand finale he severed both of the legs.
From the description of the murder scene I would say that this guy had a lot of hate in him and is just plain evil.

From the description of the murder scene I would say that this guy was out of control. That could be explained by something as simple as a sudden shock during what was intended to be an amorous encounter. It certainly doesn't justify murder, but it could easily explain an unusual level of violence and rage during and after the murder.
They need to start a transgender pride movement or, barring that, a legal requirement for transgenders to disclose that they are transgender, like men are expected to get consent from women in every step of the relationship. Either way, the element of deception would be gone and they would be a lot safer. So, transgenders, proudly announce your transgender istatus and live another day.
