The Atlanta cop who shot and killed Rayshard Brooks could face a felony murder charge, Fulton Countys top prosecutors said Sunday.
Fulton District Attorney Paul Howard said his office will decide this week if Garrett Rolfe, who was fired following Fridays fatal shooting, will be charged in the case and said that could mean a murder charge, he told CNN.
(Brooks) did not seem to present any kind of threat to anyone, and so the fact that it would escalate to his death just seems unreasonable, Howard told the network. If that shot was fired for some reason other than to save that officers life or prevent injury to him or others, then that shooting is not justified under the law.

He could, but will be found innocent.
This Wendys incident shooting?!!
So apparently this officer had NO right to defend himself, someone points a taser at him, eh, just go give the perp a hug and call it a day..this is America today, where the officers have ZERO rights and the perps have all the rights, as long as they are the “Right” color
While it looks like overreach to shoot Brooks for this, its a big lie to say Brooks wasnt a threat when he was grabbing the cops taser.
What a racist a-hole. Did he watch the video? If so, then he is a lying, racist a-hole. As if a suspect resisting arrest, stealing a officers weapon (taser) and attempting to use it on a Officer = nothing. No, it has to be for some other reason, like racism. Which is obvious because all officers are racist. This is what happens when Soros and Obama lackeys are elevated to positions of power like DA’s. We are all so busy focusing on the big abuses that we miss all the little ones that add up in situations like this.
Agreed.
Unfortunate but justified.
The deceased pointed a taser at the officer. You can see it on the video.
The Cops in ATL should not arrest anyone. Watch the body cams. That was all the perps fault.
Will ten thousand patriots take to the streets? Nope, too busy working... Except that has been exposed as a BS excuse.
Was the taser a lethal weapon?
Police need to walk off their jobs in liberal hellholes and tell them to go Fock themselves.
He already had the taser and turned and pointed it at the cop.
VERY dangerous for a cop to be incapacitated even if there are other cops around.
Plus if I had a gun and someone pointed a Taser at me, they wouldn’t see breakfast.
On the video I saw the perp try to reach for a gun of one of the officers during the struggle. Later the perp took a taser and pointed it at the officer chasing him. If the perp tasers the police officer he becomes defenseless and the perp can take his gun and shoot him.
Seems like no case unless I am missing something.
All cops should call in sick for a week, and while they are “sick”, burglarize All the city council, mayor, and state senate’s homes.

The color of your skin dictates right and wrong!
War is coming to us ALL
Nearby surveillance camera show he ran then turned and trued to use the taser again
I saw this guy rolling on the ground with both officers, resisting arrest, at one point he was on top of one of the officers, and if there hadn't been a taser involved, he would have probably gone for one of their weapons. The guy was intent on not being arrested that night, and would have gone to any lengths to prevent it happening. What is the law in regards to a civilian stealing a police officer's taser, and then using it on that same officer? Does the officer have the right to use deadly force in that case? Democrat-run cities will start taking away tasers as a means for police to restrain violent offenders, and protect themselves from injury. Next thing, they'll take their weapons from them, and we'll be turning our police officers into British Bobbies.
Yes it is.
